“Bachelorette Party Success!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The Palms is not only a beautiful resort but also has incredible service and friendly staff. Choosing a hotel for a bachelorette party (11 ladies total) was a difficult task but the Palms made me thankful for the decision again and again. Although it is not exactly in South Beach, it is close to all the major finds and a quick Uber/Taxi away from Lincoln/Espanola Way/Nightlife. Additionally, because it is located a little up the beach, the beach was quiet and felt like our own, especially because the beach food/drink service was incredible. All of our rooms were located on the same hallway and we were given a prime spot on the beach to enjoy our days in the sun. Karina J. is the most amazing concierge on the face of the earth-truly! She was able to confirm all of our reservations from restaurants to limo to services at the hotel. She was also very informative regarding the nightlife in Miami which helped make our bachelorette bash all the more memorable. I also shipped a few things to the hotel and they were able to hold the boxes for a fee of $5/box until our arrival. We also enjoyed brunch at the Essensia Restaurant on our final morning and they were able to place our luggage in a secure closet while we enjoyed the farewell meal. It was truly a dream of a weekend in a location that I was not familiar with before. However, I left knowing much more about beautiful Miami and with no reservations about where we will stay during our next trip to Miami.

Room Tip: The beach view may be worth the price. Do not have connecting rooms. Luis is the reservation team is...

Green Features: Very green hotel; food is farm fresh at the Essensia restaurant.

If you stay in The Palms Hotel, you dont need anything else! They have everything to make you satisfied! I came with whole my family, and some of them dont speak English! But, that was not problem for the guy who was working on front desk, all the time when we been in hotel, cause, he was always more then kind with us and he explained us everything perfectly in both languages. Great job for Jonathan, he made easier way to learned all about Miami and some really good information for future! We enjoyed in all beauty what hotel has, and it more than enough! We are coming soon again, and for sure, we will choose again this hotel! Nothing miss at all!

Room Tip: comfortable beds

The Palms is a beautiful resort inside and outside with just a short walk through a private gate to the beach. Food was wonderful at both restaurants and the beach/pool. The TV in the room was surprisingly large with a great picture. Pool was private and just great all around. A little far away from all of the food and shopping if you want to walk, but nice to be away from the large crowds. We loved it!

The grounds here are absolutely stunning. I remember being in awe the moment we walked through the front door. My boyfriend proposed to me on their beach at sunrise and it was so perfect!! There were good restaurants on property and friendly staff took care of us. We are looking forward to returning!!

Here for three nights on business. The entrance/reception has a colonial feel with rattan ceiling fans, columns etc. The restaurant has a large outside terrace area and the pool area can only be described as tropical. There's direct access to the beach across the boardwalk. It's about a 25 min brisk walk down the board walk into the start of the bars/restaurants. The upside to this is that the beach by the hotel isn't so busy. Would I visit again - yes (if someone else was paying) - $250 a night wouldn't encourage a long holiday.

Room Tip: Overheard reception offering to upgrade to a sea view at $50 a night. Only worth it if you spend you...

The rooms and grounds were gorgeous. The hotel is further north from South Beach which can be a good thing. We originally planned on Mexico but we discovered our little piece of "mexico" in Miami. An all inclusive in Mexico would have been cheaper as Miami is pricey!

Room Tip: you get more space if you choose two double beds. If you want an ocean view you'll need to be h...

The Palms is north of much of the busiest activity on Miami Beach, which is either good or bad, depending on what you want. The hotel has a handsome, upscale interior, a very attractive pool area, and small but updated rooms. We asked for a room away from the elevator. We were a few doors down from it, but could still hear the elevator motor, but that was tolerable. Room to room noise was minimal, and hallway noise was acceptable. There were blackout curtains for the main window, but light came in at sunrise from the bathroom because of the glass doors. The on-site restaurant featured some organic, farm to table offerings with sustainable or organic wines. Prices there were on a par for Miami Beach. The hotel price was OK for the location, bur then there was valet parking at $37/day (which required 20-30 minutes notice for your car to be brought around), and the ever-irritating resort fees. The room had no microwave or refrigerator. but did have a Keurig coffeemaker and an excellent TV. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was a rainfall-type with plenty of water flow. The room was clean, though one day housekeeping did not do the room until late afternoon. The hotel seemed to be popular for weddings and wedding receptions.

Room Tip: Go for a higher floor, away from the elevator

Green Features: They had some green practices in place. There was a separate wastebasket for recyclables, not clearly marked, which I hope was emptied appropriately.
