My husband, baby and I recently spent the day in Miami, where we stumbled upon Havana 1957. First of all, what a cool street it's on! Espanola Way has a lot of different restaurants, but my husband liked the looks of this one.
We arrived at about 1 p.m. on a weekday, so there was plenty of available seating. We were quickly seated, but it took a long time to get a menu (I think the hostess forgot to give them to us). We ordered mojitos, which were perfect for the hot day! My husband had a Cuban sandwich, and it was very good, as was my shrimp cocktail (the caviar on top of the sauce was a nice touch). We also had two coffees (cafecito) which were delicious.
I took off a star because it took a while to get the menus (we felt like we were being ignored during that time) and because there was no place to change baby's diaper (not even a countertop in the bathroom).
