“Great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Terrific experience! Claridge's may be new to us, but it happens to be an historic building right in the midst of Miami Beach. Had an exceptional time there. They are part of the Faena Group, the new eye-popping development that is currently under construction. Condo buildings, an amazing auditorium, and an incredible hotel. As for Casa Claridge's, it's been renovated, and staffed with a talented group of young people. It's small, comfortable, open, airy. Very hospitable team. We had an excellent stay.

My wife and I booked Casa Claridge in Miami Beach on airline points and were delighted at the boutique hotel. Great decor, friendly staff, and nice location. The hotel is on the lower end of Mid Beach so walkable to South Beach without the crowds and noise. Small but nicely decorated room made for a great couples get-away atmosphere. The lobby bar is pleasant with very nice appetizers.

Hubby and I stayed at the Casa Claridge for 3 days. We loved the room and the service. Beach was right across the street with free towels, umbrella and chairs. Boardwalk across the street is wonderful and lite up at nite for a relaxing stroll. Restuarant was ok, didnt have many food choices. There are many other choices outside the hotel. Our chihuahua was welcomed warmly, too bad he wasnt allowed on the beach :-( . Valet parking was $27/day or you could choose the parking site across the street but you would have to deposit $3 every 3 hrs when the meter started over, not very convenient. The only down side to this hotel is the noise..there is construction across the street and right next door...the noise is constant all day long and we experienced one night of pipe moving until 1am. Hotel manager offered us another room but it was our last nite and it would have been too much trouble to pack up and move. Besides the noise this hotel is perfect for a slow relaxing stay on south beach.

Room Tip: Rooms on the southside are very noisy due to the on-going construction. Would suggest a northside ro...

The staff was great - they helped me out in a lot of ways, and were genuinely kind and attentive. It's a smaller hotel, so there were regular staff members who did not treat you like a stranger at any time. The room was fantastic and the hotel was very well-kept in general. Right across the beach, they have their own cabanas and chairs, etc, which each guest can utilize a couple of times without any extra charge. I think the only problem was all the construction in the surrounding neighborhood, but it seemed like all of Miami Beach and South Beach was under construction. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway. I had a great time! I always love visiting Miami, and will definitely stay at Casa Claridge's again.

My son and I stayed for a few nights in February. The hotel is located north of South Beach (about a 30 minute walk along the boardwalk). The room was well appointed and the one minor issue with the water being shutoff was fixed very quickly. There is a construction site right next door which had cement trucks delivering for over 30 hours straight. Our room faced the site and the associated lights and noise. I appreciate that it is not the hotel's doing but a warning about the construction should have been posted on the website as this project will be ongoing for a few years. Also a token of some sort would have been appreciated as the entire staff was aware of the construction continuing throughout the night. I booked the breakfast plan which was a waste as the plan only covers one of the menu items. The hotel would not credit the difference in cost of the breakfast plan as to what was ordered. Kinda cheapy cheapy on their part as this restriction was not easily discernible until checkout. That being said, the breakfast selections were all very delicious. The beach club consists of a small shack on the beach that dispenses towels and loungers. Again not much value. Overall the room and staff were good, the value not so much.

When we can, our preference is to stay in a member of the Historic Hotels of America which this artsy hostelry is.

It was a beautiful, albeit short stay, more like staying in a grand apartment building which it started as than a hotel.

The lobby and common areas were classic 1920s South Beach Beaux Arts feel if not technical architectural style.

The room we stayed in was comfortable and attractive.

There little restaurant was not remarkable in any respect, not a major drawback in South Beach.

We stayed at the Casa Claridge for just the one night prior to our cruise.

We loved everything about it.. the ambience, the attention to detail, the very helpful and friendly staff and the wonderful food.

Wish we could have stayed longer, we were genuinely sorry to leave.
