My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in a Casa Queen and ate breakfast at the restaurant each morning, as well as 2 lunches and 1 dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Location: North of the main hub of South Beach, but it's a nice walk on the boardwalk to many of the restaurants and bars around Lincoln/16th, or take an Uber. If you want a wild party scene, this probably isn't for you. It's laid back and fairly quiet despite Collins Ave, which is a busy road, and nearby construction (the area may become busier when the several nearby buildings are complete).
Hotel: Small, historic hotel with a Latin/South American vibe. Well decorated. The staff was very accommodating. There isn't a pool or much in the way of outdoor space (though the terrace with the restaurant is nice), but the beach is a short walk (just across the street). We loved how clean and relatively quiet this part of the beach was.
Room: The room was simply furnished, with high quality linens, towels and bath products. Serviced twice per day and very clean. The bathroom was small (sink was in room, which was fine). Understated and comfortable, but not a "wow" room at first glance.
Restaurant: We enjoyed everything we ate here. While not inexpensive, it is Miami, and this was one of the better values we had.
Overall: We would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay not too far from the action.
