I have stayed at this hotel two years in a row while working the Miami International Boat Show. I work long hours and have little time or effort to do anything but eat and relax when I get to the room. The staff remember me from each year and make my stay very comfortable. The food was really good and when I order room service it comes within the time they promise and hot on top of that I never had a bad meal there and I travel and eat out more than most people I know (at least 10 times a week). Darlene at the coffee shop remembered how I like my coffee, bagel and oatmeal, Wes the valet always got my car promptly and Jefte the front office supervisor had a great staff. No bad review here! The price was really good and exceeded the value and expectations.

Had a great mini vacation with a "girls trip". Good value for the room large spacious but needed updated old TV's but great views of the beach and Miami. Breakfast is great buffet is excellent, Elke and David at the Seabreeze are fun and entertaining. Awesome cocktails.. The I don't know is really good. Especially if you know what you want just ask for an I don't know...

Staying in this hotel was a very pleasant experience. Customer service and management was ecxelent. I will recomend this hotel to other people, it is a very clean and nice place with nice people where you can spend and enjoy your vacatiosns.

we stayed at The Miami Beach resort on feb 9th 2011, but i had also stayed 32 years ago when it was the Doral, its almost exactly the same. The staff were friendly enough but the place is looking very dated and tired, with a damp smell, 25$ to park the car and an annoying blue band that must be worn to go near the pool, there is nothing to do nearby. 32 Years ago it was the tallest and most elegant hotel in that area, its now dwarfed by bigger more modern hotels, poor old thing.
