“Always Delivers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013 via mobile

Our second stay this year. You won't be 'wowed' by the hotel, the 'wow' hotels are abnoxious. Soho House excels customer service in every way. From the front desk staff, pool staff to gate attendants, they couldn't be more helpful or genuinely friendly. We travelled with an infant and they were very accommodating of our needs at all times (with the exception of Cecconi's which I can understand) lucky room and pool side dining is so damn good! We have stayed at many other South Beach locations and have visited all of the A List properties but the Soho House is the best pick for those who like personal interaction and good old customer service. The hotel was fully booked when we stayed but you never would have know it. Great pool and great beach. And if you don't want to mingle with the youngsters (kids) you can park yourself by the roof plunge pool.

Laurent, Tony, Fernanda, Bobby, Tony, Fabrizio, Will, Donald, Vincent, John Paul...these are just a few of the people that made our stay at the Soho Beach House absolutely phenomenol and beyond compare. If you want an absolutely superlative hotel experience with the perfect blend of luxury five-star service and easy/casual vibe this is the place for you. In the best way possible, this place is NOTHING like South Beach, but if you want the best in luxurious, secluded, magical surrounds this is place for you. From the food at Cecconi's, to the uber fantasic Cowshed spa facilities, to the lush a tropical poolside grounds you will be in heaven through and through. Book now and book long...this is Miami's greatest treasure!

Room Tip: As much as your budget will allow, go for that. Money goes a LONG way here in terms of room value.

I never been to other Soho House clubs but my girlfriend frequents ones in LA, London and NY. She loves all of them. The Miami hotel is excellent. The atmosphere of understated luxury is certainly the striking contrast with other Miami hotels in that price range. Stuff is young and friendly but very competent and one does not feel policed even if frequently asked if he is indeed a guest. Beaten up chairs are comfortable, background music and DJs are perfect everywhere, spa is excellent. Rooms are huge and sexy, especially ones with bathtubs. Food in the restaurant is very good and very light, wine selection is nice and not too expensive. Perrier-Jouët for $80 a bottle certainly helps any party. Guests were mostly from Europe. Delightfully windows were open everywhere, and one did not have to freeze in ridiculous turned to max air conditioning. Bars and restaurant are under open air and very spacious. Breakfast is excellent. Basically Soho Club gets my #1 vote in Miami. A New Yorker immediately feels at home there. The only slight drawback is that the pool during the day was inundated by children, but what can you do? Soho Club took some risk with the location but I enjoyed riding a bike or walking on the boardwalk south to Ocean Drive. It is about 2 miles away and it is a very pleasant walk if you need to get there for some reason.

Room Tip: Bigger rooms with bathtub are worth extra

A truly wonderful hotel.

The staff at the hotel are very attentive without being over bearing. Every detail appears to be considered, water and fresh lemonade on tap at the beach, two lovely beach towels, beach bags in the room and a lovely supply of cowshed products in the bathroom to use.

The hotel had a real buzz and fun atmosphere about it. Cecconi's restaurant in the hotel was great for breakfast and dinners.

Arriving at the Beach House after a long distance flight probably is the best thing, that can happen to you. You feel instantly home in a vibrant and cosy atmosphere. You've been taking care of but also left alone at the same time. There's a certain ambience that makes you feel like being a part of it all and keeps you forgetting about being a tired traveller that came from somewhere else. The room was cosy, well-furnished and supplied, lots of bathing goodies and tasteful arrangements. Nice fresh smell in the rooms and hallways. Spa is casual, laid-back and professional. The outdoor surroundings are nicely furnished, too and the beach area that belongs to the house is quite right. The restaurants, especially the one on the ground floor, are a lot of fun. People are fancy, nicely dressed and enjoy themselves. There's always a little party going on. When you have enough - just walk back to your cosy spacious room. Stay as long as you can afford it :-)

Room Tip: Even the smallest room is a treat - don't worry

I came as a guest for the day to this hotel in March 2013. Staff were really helpful, the beds on the beach were really comfy and the food was delicious! Highlights were the watering cans at the ends of our beds to get rid of the sand from our feet and the ice box to keep our drinks cool - its the simple things! Taxi from Washington Ave took about 5 mins. Prices were reasonable and there was a nice buzz about the place whilst still remaining relaxing! I would definately return.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Soho Beach House. We enjoyed excellent service at the pool, beach, restaurant, and spa - there's so much to do, you feel like you never have to leave. It's perfect for people wanting a bit of the Miami "scene" but aren't into the chaos of Ocean Drive (which is about a 30 minute walk/10 minute cab ride away). Definitely try a meal at Ceccone's, and head to the bar in the evening for an amazing cocktail. Highly recommended - we can't wait to go back.
