I stayed from Dec 15 to the 20th and it was great! I got so much more than I expected! Upon my late arrival Omar at the front desk made our check in super fast and accommodated us conviently near the front desk so we wouldn't have to go far w the baby.
The apartments are very close to Collins and the beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. All the staff I had the opportunity to interact with was helpful and nice. The cleaning service was great and when it came time to check out Angel booked our free shuttle to the airport and kept our bags until it was our time to depart for the airport. I would recommend it to everyone and will definitely stay again.

this is definitely a very good holiday flat. it offers everything you need. kitchen is well-equipped, nice dining room with comfortable couch and spacious sleeping room.

best things: 500 m to beach, walgreens, filling station, parking lot and publix just around the corner.

This place was a really pleasent surprise all the way from the checkin to checkout.
Lady at the checkin was very friendly and so was all the other hotel personnel. The apartment we got had just about everything you could ask for. full kitchen, separate living room and bedrooms, big flat screen TV's in both rooms. Apartment seemed to be recently renowated and atleast for our taste the room and the whole place looked very nice. Hotel has also also nice swimming pool.

The location of the hotel is also good.Hotel is close to Collins so the restaurants, shops and nightclubs are within walking distance, but yet far enough to escape from all fuss that is goind on in the evenings at the Ocean Drive & Collins.Beach is few hundred mater distance.
Also Walgreens is close to get the basic supplys and Publix is within walkable distance.

This hotel as all the one belonging to SOBE group offer a free shuttle pickup from and to airport at scheduled times.Also there seemed to be free happy our drinks at Catalina for anyone staying at the SOBE group hotels.

Only negative sides that I could think about from this place where the apartment doors. When the door is left to close it really slams down heavily making sound that you think that whole floor is shakin. We had some youngs in the next room and they were constantly going in and out from the door so the slamming of the door was getting bit annoying. On the other hand there where not much sounds from the streets or anywhere else.

Also one thing to consider is the parking issue if you have a car.We did not have at that time so this was not an issue for us but the reception told that parking is quite a nightmare.They offer valet parking which is around 20 dollars per night if remembered correctly but there is only limited amount of these available and there are no free spots here.Msot of the area is marked as residential parking.

Anyway I would defenetly recommend this place for anyone.

Everything. I changed from a posh 4 star hotel to Tradewinds because of its location and price. You get a lot more than what you pay for. Staff are super friendly, location is pretty good (walkable to Lincoln road and a bit more effort and you will be at South beach), well equipped rooms, laundry (for 3 USD I could wash a week of my clothes), free WiFi and to top it a free shuttle service to the airport. Highly recommended.
