“Good surprise!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This hotel, located very near the seashore, just a block away from the sea, offers other commodities.
The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is good, the room is large, and it is close to the main attractions of Miami Beach, especially the famous Lincoln Road. Furthermore, it is very clean and has a pleasured environment. Thus, it is a nice plase to stay without paying too much.

Room Tip: Avid those near the the air conditioning, such as the one on 2nd floor and ending 12.

this is the worst hotel i've ever stayed at. the service was appalling. front of staff totally incompetent.

No toothpaste or hair conditioner in room. when we asked front desk to bring some up- he suggested we walked to nearest walgreens as they didn't offer both.

we purchased a bottle of wine to drink in room. hotel couldn't provide a corkscrew. told us they were waiting for their roof top bar staff to show up to work and they were over 1 hour late already.

we had a leaking shower that kept us up the entire night. when we advised front desk next morn they decided to comp our parking. did nothing else

dirty blue wet towels on the floor to exit to roof top. no sure why or whether there was a leak of some sort. but towels remained entire visit and we were walking over them. very gross.

wifi very slow

once home, i was charged on my visa the FULL amount of our stay as well as the SPLIT bill amt. I called the front desk- long distance, and a man , I believe named Giancarlo, insisted I call my bank. I advised him that I had been charged twice and he kept insisting the full amount was just a hold. I explained that a hold is merely for security and doesn't get put through a card. so now i am dealing with this a week after my stay.

he was reluctant to give me a manager name. and now i have to email a bunch of strangers my visa statement.

overall, terrible experience. would never ever go back again.

We stayed here for a few nights, leaving on New Year's Day 2015. Given that we were there over the busiest night of the year, we thought the room we were in was very quiet and peaceful. We slept brilliantly, and couldn't hear the club downstairs, or the massive outdoor party in the hotel next door.

Let's be clear, this hotel is pretty basic, but it does what it does well. The staff are polite, helpful and attentive. The rooms are a little sparse, but are spotlessly clear and very well maintained by the house-keeping staff.

The location is great, only a few steps to Miami Beach and Collins.

However, this is a classic 3 star hotel, in my view. Don't be expecting room service, bellboys and a hot stone massage, cause it ain't here.

Would stay again, if this is the type of hotel we were looking for.

Room Tip: We had third floor room, which didn't have a view, but was quiet. Can't speak of the other f...

This hotel is in a great location, its cute and clean and the staff are really lovely.....BUT
There is a nightclub downstairs (and another on the roof) and a very busy 4 lane road in front...and NO SOUNDPROOFING ANYWHERE (single pane windows, for example)
The noise woke us up at 2am and continued non stop (screeching horns, car doors slamming, more horns, sirens) until 7AM. Result: the next morning we were zombies and our next door neighbours were practically in tears as they had stayed several nights (same thing every night apparently) and were just EXHAUSTED.
If sleep is important to you (or silence) then just dont stay here.
Side note: its very noisy all day too.

Room Tip: the rooms are all noisy but especially the 117 217 317 and avoid the 4th floor as the rooftop bar is...

My husband and I have stayed in Townhouse Hotel for 9 nights during Christmas time. The Hotel has great location steps from the Beach and the Lincoln Road where you can go shopping and eating in good restaurants. The room is very clean and has everything you really need. The floor isn't carpet which is good for hotels near the Beach BUT the couple in the room on top of ours (we were in 312) started doing a LOT of noise in one of the nights from 4 to 6:30am and, in this case, the floor didn't help and the walls were too thin. The staff is friendly and they offered us a simple but good breakfast table everyday. I only missed having a pool in the hotel and I think that the parking was very expensive (36 dollars per day), also taking 10-15 minutes to bring the car everytime we wanted to leave. The hotel charges 5 dollars per package of things that you buy and send to the hotel and the beach chairs and umbrellas are not offered by the hotel, you have to pay 30 dollars for 2 chairs and one umbrella. I would go back because of the price that is fair and the location!

Room Tip: I think that there is no relevant difference between the rooms. My room in the 3rd floor was well lo...
