We have just returned from three nights at the Townhouse Hotel and we can't wait to go back. Our excellent experience started when Georgia, the lovely manager, honored the very good price shown on TripAdvisor, even though technically it wasn't available on the nights we were coming. At check-in, it was "no problem" to give us our room even though we were three hours ahead of officlal check-in time. And when the room we were originally assigned smelled of smoke, no problem (again) to move us -- and give us a free upgrade at the same time!

Our room was incredibly light and airy, and clean as a whistle. The red-and-white decor is adorable. Breakfast is delicious (fresh croissants! 3 kinds of preserves! hard-boiled eggs! unlimited do-it-yourself lattes!). The common areas (lobby lounge and roof deck) are gorgeous. The location is perfect -- lhalf a block from the ocean, and iterally across the street from the Settai ($645/night).

Honestly, in just 3 days the Townhouse Hotel has become a destination hotel for us. The only thing that will prevent us from coming back will be if that great TripAdvisor special isn't available!

I stayed at the Townhouse over Christmas.
Location is great, it's just away from the main areas but a 5 minute walk down Collins to Lincoln and the restaurants and shops. It's also just a minute away from the beach.
The hotel isn't luxury but it does stylish basic very well. The room was large and bright.
I arrived at 9.30 in the morning having emailed in advance to check that I could leave my bags there way before the 3pm checkin. They had asked the maid to get the room ready so I checked in pretty much straight away and got some well needed sleep rather than having to kill 6 hours. I was very great full for this.
I didn't have much interaction with the staff but what little I did they seemed friendly and helpful.

Giancarlo and his team run a great operation at this little gem on SoBe. My wife and I spent three nights here (on our honeymoon) and couldn't be happier to have chosen it. It's a deceivingly simple place as it has everything you need and more, not to mention the friendly and super helfpul staff. There is a reason it gets all the positive reviews it does, so my advice is if you are thinking about it book it. It's a great place. Thank you Giancarlo.

I stayed in the townhouse hotel for three nights. The location of the hotel was excellent with a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. I was surprised about the quality of the help yourself breakfast (coffee, bagels, muffins, croissants...) for that price. There is a bjg rooftop terrasse available as well. The rooms are basic but clean and roomy. Southbeach hotels are expensive and the townhouse hotel is definitively a bargain.
