“Mustang Sally & Turning Japanese the best in the World”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

For the meat lovers Mustang Sally is the best ever with Prosciutto & Red Onion Mermelade. And for the Tuna Lovers you can't miss the Turning Japanese. Great atmosphere, good service and delicious menu for everyone!!

“Burgers aren't complex”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

Neat place tucked away from the crowd of Ocean Drive and the décor seemed pretty cool. The menu is pretty straightforward and the burger combinations are creative. We were a party of four and when our food arrived (took a fair amount of time and the place wasn't full) the little things like no tomato on this one and no pickle on that one had been missed. I asked for mine to be cooked medium (something about serving hamburger medium rare doesn't do it for me) and my burger was raw. Not even close. Bleeding. Almost mooing. The waiter was pretty quick to fix it and it went back to the kitchen to be properly cooked and returned. By then, everyone else had finished. When it came back it was a very tasty burger indeed, but it makes you wonder. All you do it burgers. Your burgers are all the same size. You know how hot your grill is. Cooking a medium burger or a medium rare is just a matter of the right time on each side. There's no rocket science here.

All in all, we enjoyed the food, the waiter was attentive, the prices were very reasonable, but maybe some focus in the kitchen is in order.

“Excellent food and beer”

Really nice place with a friendly staff. Great burgers and side orders. Good value for the food and a hip setting.

“A South Beach institution. 4 1/2 stars.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Been here twice during mancation weekends to see the Dolphins ( Oct 2010 and again Oct 2013 ).

Since it's a burger place I have a hard time giving it 5 stars but it seems better than 4.

Very simple to understand - great burgers and good beer selection. Just like the name says.

Booked twice via Open Table which made it easy.

“Best Burger Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

Not sure about the negative reviews of this place as we visited on 20/02 and had the best burger ever! Think it was called the Hotel California. When it came out I didn't think I would finish it as it was huge but it was soooo good that I had to eat it all.

Service was excellent. The waitress ensured that I had another beer as I finished mine and also topped up my wifes soft drink when it needed to be done. She checked on us many times and provided advice on the food as well as local directions. Didn't have to wait long either.
