The white sands of south beach are truly gorgeous, spotlessly clean and expansive sandy areas, we could not see the end of the beach! The fireworks on the beach on New Years eve were fabulous, one to remember.
the beach was clean and well attended. I particularly liked the walkways between beach and upscale hotels.
One of the best places to stay if you are visiting. The entire area is just very happening and always buzzing with energy. one tip though. leave your car at the Hotel .. the traffic is very bad and the roads are packed throughout . almost everything is available on a walking distance.
my favorite beach in miami. very nice crowd and great night life. rstaurants are a bit pushy and over priced same as parking so try to go off the main Ocean Dr to eat and dont take a car to south beach, buses work great use google maps to find your way around with the bus.
South beach is such a beautiful place. The beaches are crowded but they are clean. There are so many things to do from renting bikes, walking on ocean drive and taking in the sites, shopping on collins ave, ppl watching, or taking a dip. I truly enjoyed this place. Everybody should visit in their lifetime, it is a true gem and really makes you understand why miami is called the gateway to the carribean. You can enjoy a little bit of everything here from the cuisine, the restaraunts and shops, the culture, the art deco design of the old hotels, the weather and the hue of the water.
