The area seemed to be very clean, on the contrary of some beliefs. We enjoyed it thoroughly, even though it was mid December.
If you are planning to stay in Miami, you must stay in South Beach. That's where all the good stuff is.
The area is improving in terms of being cleaner with more dining and shopping choices. It still has the flair of a very touristy place
Its really expensive to do anything in south beach but its a good place to meet a lot of beautiful people and party atmospheres for people of all likes. From really classy to not so classy places, money talks. Make sure you visit Nikki Beach, Mansion, Liv and the Clevelander for a great time.
one of the best places i have ever seen. i would stay in south beach not in miami downtown. i like southbeach more than north beach.
