“Loved the design!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

The rooms are nice with a great modern design. The beds are some of the most comfy I have stayed in. I really liked the design of the entire property. It is a few blocks north of Prime 112, a yummy steakhouse. The restaurant in the lobby was delicious and I would recommend. The beach is right across the street. I would have like to see them include more benefits for the resort fee. I would advise looking into an app called Foli. It is a digital library of magazines and books, plus it is eco friendly. I have stayed at a few other properties that offer this service and I find it a nice added benefit. The staff was very welcoming and the property is well managed. I look forward to my next stay.

I come here every year and is like returning home. Always very clean and cozy, great bar and good restaurant . Rooms are very comfy with a nice foam bed, good shower and overall good service. Pool on the room is 5 star

Great hotel in a superb location . Right on Ocean Drive but the quiet end , but still within walking distance of the main action . Our room ( floor 2 room 10 ) had a partial sea view , between the buildings . Beds are VERY comfortable , memory foam . Very good quality bath products ( molten Browne ) Wi Fi works well .
Didn't give 5 stars for a few reasons 1) stains on the lounge chairs near the pool area 2) pool looked grubby 3) resort fee whether you use the things or not ! 4) would have thought hotel guest would get a discount in the restaurant 5) apart from the pool area no place for JUST resident to chill out you have to share the area with restaurant guest .
Be careful if booking with Expedia , despite having email confirmation there was no booking , luckily there were not full . I suggest checking with the hotel independently that they have your booking !! Thought they could offer you a drink whilst waiting for booking to be sorted out . We had a bag stolen , although I used the phone for free , just an extra bit of service and offer refreshment to get over the shock would push them up to 5 stars all round . Sometimes it is just the little touches that make the difference
Despite this would defiantly stay there again .

Room Tip: I would pay for a sea view , where the hotel is situated you would not get a full view . If you want...

Excellent location , one block from the beach and at the quiet end of Ocean Drive but in easy reach of the restaurants etc . Rooms are very comfortable and modern . If you book with Expedia do check directly with the Hotel that they have you booking . Ours wasn't in the Hotel system luckily I had the email confirmation with me and the Hotel had spare rooms . We would have been in trouble if they didn't . No explanation was given and I have seen other reviews stating the same thing . So not sure what is going wrong . The pool on the roof is a great idea , but the pool looks dirty not a nice bright blue colour that you would expect and the covers of the pool loungers are very stained. Not sure what the resort fee was about as its not optional ?? We just paid didn't argue . Wifi is brill works very well in the room .

Room Tip: Only saw one room so can't recommend a particular one . I can't see that paying for a sea vi...

Really nice hotel, friendly staff, great location.
Disagree with the daily resort fee but this is everywhere. Food was a bit pricey but good.
Rooms very comfortable and spacious.
Lovely roof top pool.

We have been twice in the Sense Beach House with our children, we appreciated the small size, the good situation in South Beach, the cosy rooms, the top floor, the restaurant menus and the very good service of Aniko and the team.

We had a very nice time.

We booked the hotel, based on the review scores but were a bit disappointed after a stay in the Hampton Inn Brickel. The good things first: we arrived around 10 after a cruise and our room was already ready. There is a wonderful pool on the roof and the area is one block from the beach.
What was less good was the value for money. The resort fee of 13 dollars / day on a rainy day is for free wifi. On a sunny day you can use a beach towel. You pay a lot for the room, but there is no free coffee or even ice water. No movie channel. No information at all in the room and no free breakfast. At check-in you have to sign to pay for everything if gone missing: books 10$ towel 25$ etc. At checkout we got a bill for non-used items from the mini-bar, The sink was broken and we were so afraid that we took a picture at arrival to be able to proof we did not break it. The mini-bar frigo was alos broken, but this was immediately replaced.
The most annoying thing was that we were phoned two days before arrival by Expedia that the hotel was overbooked and wanted to rellocate people. When I phoned the hotel, they told me that the problem was solved in the mean time. Expedia got the confirmation - including that it was the hotel that overbooked and not expedia as was they suggested.
All in all we got the impression from the hotel and actually all restaurants on Ocean drive that the purpose was earning money quickly from naive tourists.Washington Avenue two block further from the beach has a completely different atmosphere - friendly and relaxed.
