The room was modest for the price. The beds were very comfortable. The lobby, pool area, and exercise area good. Location was good. Right on the boardwalk to the beach. The hot tub was out of order. Elevators are too small and slow. Hotel employees can use some customer service training, especially front desk. I called about 2 a.m. to complain about noisey neighbors and no one ever answered the phone. Thank God it wasn't an emergency. A lot of patrons were extremely noisey and rowdy . You get what you pay for. I'd only stay there again if I'm on a tight budget.

My wife and I were travelling around florida for august and, having stayed in other great miami hotels (marriot, biscayne blvd) and other good sheratons (sheraton City suites, Orlando) we were looking forward to our stay in the four points. However, from the moment we checked in everything went downhill. we orginally reserved a five night stay in this hotel but cancelled after three nights and moved to another marriot. The lifts were dirty, the staff were rude and unhelpful and the builidng site next door stopped us from lying in the (admittedly lovely) pool area to fogrget our problems. Even going back to the room for a shower before our night out was problematic as we had no hot water for the first part of our stay. Everytime we went back to the room, the room keycards had been cancelled, meaning another long trip in the slow elevators down to the lobby to be intrrogated by the reception staff who seem to have forgotten that we were paying guests but were under the impression that we were trying to break into the rooms. trying to charge a drink to our account was also difficult as everytime we tried, the waitress told us out credit card was not valid. everytime!! it was impossible to get towels for the pool and the 'tiki' bar was double charging us for every drink we tried to buy. Despite being regular travellers, we have never experienced these sort of problems before. i would reccomend the marriots in town but STAY AWAY from here!

The rooms are insalubrious, antiquated, small and quite expensive compared to other hotels of Miami Beach.

But overall : when I waked up early this morning, I found numerous little parasites in my bed, and they were full of ... my blood !

This confirms my feeling that this hotel is definitely insalubrious ...

Apart from that, the breakfast is just OK but it has really nothing to do with some other hotels of the same area.

If you are looking for a Westin don't stay here. Yes the elevators are slow but WOW right on the beach, great pool for kids, buffet breakfast in the morning was perfect, free coffee that was awsome close to South Beach but the boardwalk has to be the best part. For the money the location can't be better. Staff was very nice and car arrived quick since new garage has been built accross the street
