“Very Cozy Hotel”

Hotel Nash

Nov 13, 2008 New

Stayed at the hotel in August, when MB is not that overcrowded. Booked the hotel long before coming - the simplest room available. Upon arrival I was vey pleasantly surprised to learn that all standard rooms were sold out so I was upgraded to a much bigger room, the price for which was double compared to my booking, but this upgrade was a present for "inconveniences" (the lady said she just liked my name when saw the booking))). I wish I had such incoveniences everywhere I go! The hotel is close to the beach, I wouldnt say - to attractions - there are none in MB. Very nice terrace in the hotel, and it has 3 pools! No matter they are the size of a bath, but almost none of small hotels have even one. It seems to me that the trick with the prices is that if you book in advance - you have quite a high price, but booking one day ahead or the day of arrival gives u a magnificent price! Enjoyed the hotel a lot!

“Not a 4 star hotel”

I got this hotel through Priceline under their 4 star selection. This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. It has components of a 4 star hotel but some severe shortcomings. I had a good time in South Beach and this hotel is OK for the price. Great staff, flat screen TV and non-standard bathroom combine with one of the worst beds Ive ever slept on- hard and loud squeaking every time I move. The walls are in severe need of a paint job and the shower basically only had too hot water on every temperature you selected. The tub also wouldn't seal for a bath. The 4 star components and 2 star components combine to only make this hotel a 3 star. I am not a picky person but when I have 4 star expectations I think a working tub and non-squeaky bed are in order. Now that I've stayed at this hotel, would I stay there again? Yes, if I wanted to be right in the heart of South Beach and pay about a $100 a night (plus resort fee of $10/day- for what!?!?!). Hotel Nash either needs to upgrade the beds and paint the walls, or downgrade their star level to 3.

Pros-Walking distance to everything, flat screen TV, turn down service.
Cons-Terrible bed, needs major cosmetic care.

“Best deal on South Beach”

I was in town for a long weekend. Found this boutique hotel within my budget and wasn't expecting much. But it well-exceeded my expectations. Clean lobby, coureous staff and amazing location in the middle of the action (just one block from the beach). Great amenities and a computer in the lobby for use, totally free (though internet was down once or twice -- hard to blame the property for the phone company's incopetence).

Admittedly, it was off-season, but I still can't believe the bargain I got for the clean and comfortable accommodations.

Valet charges are a bit pricey, but that's every hotel on the beach. Pretend that it's just part of the nightly rate (as they should do) and it's still well worth it.

“Fabulous stay at the Nash”

Hotel Nash

Oct 20, 2008

Just got back from 8 days at the Nash... The location is excellent, minutes from the beach and ocean drive... a short walk to the best bars on collins street.

The rooms were lovely, clean and modern, and the bathrooms very new and nice, we were upgraded on arrival to a superior room, which was great as we had already got a really cheap deal from a website for the room!

The bar is small but nice with a lovely bar man, and when we were there they opened the Nash Grille serving food on the front terrace which was nice and gave a good atmosphere to the front entrance.

The staff were lovely... really friendly and one even printed out a map for me and directions to the closest abercrombie and fitch!

I would 100% recommend the hotel. There are also some other more expensive nice hotels: the chesterfield, the victor and the catalina all nice but a lot more! Also recommend eating at the Pelican hotel, excellent lunch and dinner menu!

We also hired a car for the day and went to the Florida Keyes that was an amazing day. The Everglades is also worth a vist.

Nash was a great base for everything we wanted to do.

“Great Experience at Hotel Nash”

Our stay at Hotel Nash was a EXCELLENT! We got there at 4:30pm and were upgraded to a garden view room. The acutal "view" isn't what your getting upgraded for- It's the size of the room. Our hotel room was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The place was clean, the front desk staff were helpful, our beds were turned over daily and the location of the hotel was perfect. Great places to eat within a block radius. The beach was also a block away and all the "HOT" clubs were a $4-$6 cab ride away- (Mansion, Hotel Victor, SoBe Club are all 1 1/2 blocks away, Dolce is 3 blocks away). I highly recommend this hotel! It was worth the price we paid (under $160/night) which we booked about a month and half early. So stay here if you want to be surrounded by more locals than tourist. Our last visit to Miami (Jan 08) we stayed at the Catalina Hotel and the service and hotel experience we received there can't even be compared to Hotel Nash. I recommend this spot for anyone who wants to be surrounded by a fun-laidback SoBe nightlife with great hotel service and a clean room!!!
