We visited South Beach for the first time in early January 2013 and stayed for 2 nights before cruising out of the Port of Miami. We found the hotel to be quaint, clean, and perfectly located close enough to the action to participate but not be overwhelmed. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel restaurant and the food was quite tasty. One minor issue occurred at check-out when the registration clerk did not know how to apply my Marriott gift card to my hotel balance. Since we had a cruise to get to, I just left the hotel balance on my credit card until I returned home and contacted the hotel manager. Mr. Rodriguez was apologetic for the inconvenience and resolved our payment issue within 24 hours. We would absolutely stay at Blue Moon hotel again.
