Construction view, not ocean. Noise all day, rooms are not clean . Pathetic pool. This place is waaaay over priced. Nasty carpet, rooms smell. I will never ever book anything with "crown" in the name ever again. I will also never use Expedia ever again. Cigarette butts floating in the pool. Non existing security. I could go on & on, but what would be the point. I hope this saves at least one person from the disappointment we had. Zero parking here, even for a short time. Cell reception terrible. No restaurant , no bar. The only positive thing I do have to say is the wifi was good.

We booked a penthouse, 2 BR suite with ocean view. The biggest disappointment by far was the "view". The deck has a cement wall where there is normally a railing or plexiglass. Our view was only a view when standing on the deck. I booked this room expecting to be able to read or have a drink on the deck, surrounded by the ocean breeze - sitting on this deck was more like a prison cell - surrounded by 4 cement walls. That being said, half of the rooms in the front of the building have plexiglass and that would have been fine. So get details about your deck. Also disappointing was hair in our room and the absolutely disgusting hallways – stained carpet and windows that looked like they haven’t been washed since the Clinton administration. When we arrived with groceries since we knew we had a kitchen, the fridge and freezer were turned off. Not only inconvenient by smelly. The front desk staff was very unfriendly. Housekeeping never got to our room before 5:00. There was one love seat in the living area with no ottoman – so limited seating and not the most comfortable.
On the positive side, the décor is beautiful, new, great kitchen. The pool and beach access were wonderful. Even during Christmas week we could always get a chair at the pool. The beachwalk was so nice.
There isn’t much close to the hotel. We took more taxis than I expected. Many buildings close are under construction. I thought overall this place was a terrible value considering the level of service.

This place is for the budget conscience. I know you get what you pay for but for starters it is a residential place where several tenants have pets. I have allergies to pets so that was bothersome to me. The carpet in the hallway is filthy! The shower curtain was filthy. I told them about this and i beleive house keeping sprayed it down because it did look cleaner the next day. But hello...its like $227 a night and it costs what maybe $10 bucks to replace a shower curtain. The water didnt get that hot, which was okay for my husband because he doesnt like his water to hot. To make it worse there were gnats flying around in the bathroom. Disgusting!

We had a nice trip in Miami but the hotel stay was a disappointment. I would have loved to stay at the Fountain Blue. In fact i resisted the temptation to just up and go. Unfortunately, our budget didnt allow it at $500+ a night. Which is why this place is best for you if youre on a budget.

First, id like to thank tripadvisor because this helped me make my choice of where to stay ! now i want to thank Churchill crown resident , for making this experience amazing ! our room was gorgeous. everything you want in a suite and more ! our balcony had a nice view of both city and beach !..... there was some construction going on and was a bit noisy and not a good view but it wasn't a big deal ! the lobby was very nice and clean and smelled very good. we had valet parking everyday and was pretty prompt. The staff here is so welcoming and sweet ! and room service was great as well ! we had a Primo cafe right across the street, this was so convenient for breakfast and coffee and other needs. the pool and jacuzzi and access to the beach was amazingly comfy and useful !! I have no complaints. im not one of high end because i never came from that but this was enough for me and my husband ! we had a great honeymoon and we cant be more thankful for the service here !, some day i wish to return with family !!
