I try to visit Miami at least twice year. Upon my first visit there, I fell completely in love with the city! I have been staying at Nassau Suite for all of my vacations. The hotel is more than you can ask for. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is middle of everything! The hotel is perfect if you are staying for more than 3 days, because of the kitchenette in the room. There are several Publixs (grocery stores) nearby to stock up your fridge! In the morning they serve a nice continental breakfast to get you are on your way! It’s literally one block away from the beach (and the infamous, and they provide towels and beach chairs for your beach time! There is also a Walgreens right next to the hotel for all your needs. For you partiers, the hotel is right around the corner from Washington Avenue where e a lot of the clubs (Cameo, Dream, and Mansion) are located. Overall it is a great experience and staff (kudos to Patricia and Alverez) where very nice and helpful!

Room Tip: Top floor, away from elevator

We stayed at Nassau during spring break and it was a great hotel. The rooms were sound proof considering the partying going on around us we weren't participating in and the free breakfast was great. The showers were difficult to use though with little water pressure and the wifi was terrible even after the lovely lady at the front desk tried to reset it several times. Good walking distance to everything on South beach but far enough away that it's not too crazy or loud.

This hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the beach. We were traveleing with 2 kids (aged 3 and 5,5 years) We had a clean one bedroom suite with 2 double beds and a kitchenette, we were not offered a childrens bed but it worked out fine anyway. We had a room facing the parking lot so we were not bothered with too much noise during the night. The breakfast was not very exciting; toast, bagels and cakes. There is no play area for kids but when we went to the beach the receptionist gave us a large bucket with different beach toys which we could borrow (in addition to free towels and beach chairs) There is a gym which was well equipped

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the parking lot (more quiet)

We stayed here for a couple of nights before our Caribbean-cruise. The staff were kind and helpful and the location of hotel was just so good. We got a suite (I don't know why) and it was very clean and good overall.
A special thanx to the very kind receptionist Leo who let us leave our luggage and use the facilities of the hotel when we came back from the cruise during the afternoon.

Would recommend to stay here!

After spending 7 hours traveling with 2 tired kids, we arrived at the Nassau Suites to find out that our reservation had been transferred to a sister property. The disappointing thing is that no one had bothered to call and tell us that our reservation was transferred. If we would have known that we would have had our taxi take us directly to the other property. However, when we did attempt to check in and were told we had to go to the other property, we were not offered any sort of transfer. We were told it was within walking distance (4 blocks away). Four blocks doesn't sound like much, but when you have 7 pieces of luggage and 2 tired kids, it seems like 4 miles. All in all, the experience was poor to say the least and because of it I would definitely not a book a reservation at this property again.

A wonderful location right in the heart of things on South Beach. The hotel is old, but well cared for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-site parking is a great amenity if you have a car, and reasonably priced for the area. We were in a 1 bedroom suite, which was spacious and had a nice kitchenette, too. Because of the hotel's age it has its little quirks (a tiny 2-person elevator, some things that were patched together a bit), but it's not advertised as a shiny new luxury hotel, and it was very nice for what it is. It's on a busy street, so some street noise is unavoidable, but we had no trouble sleeping. We also enjoyed hanging out on the front porch and watching a fascinating parade of people go by.

We stayed here a total of four nights in November - two nights before and after our cruise. Overall, I thought the hotel was very good. The first two nights we spent on the ground floor near the back of the hotel, and the last two nights we stayed on the third floor looking out on Collins Ave. I preferred the first floor room for its open layout, though we did get more noise on one of the nights. That said, if you want to be right on Collins and close to the beach, you're going to have to put up with some noise, so it wasn't a big deal. The best features of this hotel are the location and the friendly staff. We asked for dining recommendations several times, and each time we got good results. (Hint: if you want a great meal at a reasonable cost, walk away from the beach instead of towards it; there are several great dining options on/near Washington Ave within a five minute walk of the hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast is okay; given that it is free you can't complain too much about it. My wife found the decor somewhat dated, but I don't think anything else in the area, in that price range, would be substantially better. We booked well in advance (in March), and got a really good rate. I would stay here again if we visited SoBe in the future.
