“Quiet, cute, and close to the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

We stayed here for a couple of nights in January, before taking a cruise out of Miami. It is very close to the beach and all the great art deco hotels. The decorations were super cute and the room was very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was very convenient for us, as it's close to some city bike rental kiosk which enabled us to ride up and down ocean drive and stop whenever we wanted! It was a great deal for the price, and we were very happy with our stay there.

Room Tip: We stayed toward the back of the complex, so it was nice and quiet. If you have a hard time going up...

Staying in villa paradiso was great. Miquel was the best, he was so friendly and kind and gave us lots of tips where to go and eat! A real hospitality man!
The room (number 11) was modern and had everything we needed. The hotel gives you towels for the beach, just 1 block away!
To eat we suggest the front porch cafe at ocean drive at the beach.
We booked 3 tours, 1 busride in miami, 1 boattour and 1 fullday to keywest for 70 dollar a person! Very good tours and service, especially Al, the tourguide in miami was great, we booked it by halfprice tickets. The hotel is in a great location, to walk to lincolnroad or hespanicroad to eat and ofcourse oceandrive.
No bar in the restuarant but you can bring your own drinks and snacks in the lovely smal garden where they have candles at night and lovely lounchesets.
We highly recommand this place and we thanks Miquel again, also for giving us a room at the last day to chance before going to the airport!

Stayed here in June and was very happy about the location of the hotel. It is about 2 blocks to the beach and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants South Beach has to offer. We were given a bigger room than reserved which was a big plus! There are no elevators so opt for a first floor room if you want to avoid climbing stairs. The decor was simple but modern. One of the beds was too soft for us. There was no tub in the bathroom but it was not a problem for us. We didn't use the kitchen much, except for the refrigerator. The kitchen was equipped with a table with 2 chairs, refrigerator, stove, and utensils (but no microwave). Overall, a great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Our experience at this hotel was pretty great. Our room had a kitchen and a walk-in closet. A flat-screen TV, two-person couch and A/C was in the bedroom. The decorations were very minimal but pleasing to the eye. Our room was very clean and had hardwood floors. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I think if you're looking to stay somewhere close to the beach and not in a 40-floor megahotel, this is your best choice.

Room Tip: We stayed at the room that's closest to the back alley and farthest from Collins Ave and the sou...

I stayed here with my husband 10 nights in May 2013 on our honeymoon trip. The staff was great, room was clean and comfy. We chose to book this hotel based on the positive reviews and didn´t need to regret our decision. We highly recommend this hotel for all those who like to stay close to South Beach and are looking for reasonable priced accommodation!

I organized a bachelor trip to Sobe. All eight of us stayed at this hotel (we are in our 30s some in their 40s).

This place is centrally located in the northern section of lummus park. Lincoln and Ocean are easily accessible. There is a walgreen's up the street near the start of Lincoln mall. We were able to walk everywhere, taxi ride's to the opposite side of the island is very minimal.

Rooms were very very nice, had a flat screen, and very very powerful A/C. The kitchen was great to have, and every room has access to a balcony. The grounds were clean. Eventough there were some suspect characters late at night, it was nice to see the gate locked.

Judith was warm and very nice, couldn't believe how busy this girl was, but she managed to accomodate all her guests.

One of our buddies goes to Sobe a lot, and he's rented at least 8 different high end hotels along ocean. He said, he will be coming back here, and never booking another of those hotels again. He couldn't believe the price, and the fact that it came with a kitchen!

Location was spot on, easily walking distance to Oceans Drive, Lincoln Road, south beach... Judith in reception was very helpful with advice on where to go and arranged a trip to the Everglades for us. The apt itself was very spacious with everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend and will be using them for any trip to south beach in the future!!
