We ate at Texas de Brazil in mid-March... We were actually on our way to Fogo de Chao when the cabbie recommended Texas de Brazil. He has been working South Beach for years and was unfamiliar with Fogo de chao which really surprised us... When we told him we were looking for Brazilian BBQ he insisted that Texas de Brazil was the place to go... He was soooo right..
$45 per indiividual for all you can eat... You start with the "salad bar" , which eclipses the quality and variety of most menus I've seen at other restaurants. Then comes the meat. There were 16 varieties of BBQ meat available and it just kept coming.
They had a very complete wine list and excellent mixed drink specials.
All of this was capped off by a beautiful view of the marina. It was just a great meal at a great place with great people...
Sometimes cabbies will give you the best advice... Just ask...
