Went out of my way to find this cafe based on reviews and found it's not what I expected. No bread was served before or during the meal (I usually expect this from an Italian restaurant), soft drinks were served straight from a can delivered to the table, and the Lasagna had a very strange taste almost as if the meat was bad. I have written a few reviews before and this is my first with a negative tone.

I videoed this place for a client that does restaurant reviews in Miami Beach. What a hidden gem. Top rate food and service in North Beach. Don't miss Shrimp in Bacon. If you are staying at a nearby hotel like the Sherry frontanac, run don't walk here.

I always here people talking about their "hidden treasure" or "unbelievable find", for me THIS IS IT!!! I stayed accross the street at the Deauville Hotel, walked in during lunch and was greeted by a wonderful staff at this small Italian cafe. I had the daily lunch special, a super fresh grilled mahi sandwich with an amazing lemon caper mayonaise. My experience was so good that I ate at Ceriones lunch and dinner for the rest of my trip (4 days). Each new item on the menu that I tried trumped the last and the wine list was exceptional for such a small restaurant. The service was equally exceptional. This is my new "go to" place when I am in Miami. Get down to North Miami beach and try this place out.

My family and I have been eating at Cerione's since it first opened and love that we now have a local go-to restaurant. We just moved to Miami Beach and really missed our local Italian eatery back home. We live nearby and there are not any places that have the quality of food (homemade dessert AWESOME), great service, and ambiance that Cerione's has. The key is that the food is consistently great and the specials of the day are always tasty. I often remark how they should add the specials to their menu but that would make for a very lengthy read! I highly recommend Cerione’s.
