My family and I have been eating at Cerione's since it first opened and love that we now have a local go-to restaurant. We just moved to Miami Beach and really missed our local Italian eatery back home. We live nearby and there are not any places that have the quality of food (homemade dessert AWESOME), great service, and ambiance that Cerione's has. The key is that the food is consistently great and the specials of the day are always tasty. I often remark how they should add the specials to their menu but that would make for a very lengthy read! I highly recommend Cerione’s.

A few weeks ago I stayed some days in Miami with my family. More or less by coincidence we found Cerione's the first night. It isn't located in the centre of the city, but more at the north side of Miami Beach. We had some drinks and some snacks like calamari and garlic rolls. What a great taste! And with a very friendly service-staff!
The second evening in Miami, we went to the art deco district. Over there we couldn't find a restaurant that seemed promising (being from the Netherlands, Europe, we got bored with the bad American cuisine very quick: to fat, poorly prepared, bad ingredients and in Miami: unfriendly service). So we decided to go back to Cerione's again. An excellent choice. We were with 8 people so we ordered quite a few different dishes: seafood pasta, pizza, salads, chicken and veal dishes like ossobuco. Really everything we ordered tasted absolutely great!! We found out that the chef got a lot of recipes from his Italian grandmother. That is something you can taste, no 'heavy' or over-creamy tasting food (like a lot of American chefs seem to prepare), but well prepared real authentic and rich Italian food with super ingredients! The wines we had were also really good and surprisingly sharp priced. And again: the most friendly service one could wish for.
Usually I don't write a lot about my holliday-experiences, but this time I really wanted to. I think people should know about this small, simple but nice looking Italian cafe with beautiful food and friendly waitresses.

This restaurant is WONDERFUL! We were lucky to get a seat right away for dinner. We were informed of the Wine special - Pinot Noir bottle for $13.99!!! WOW! Two people had the fettucine Alfredo with Chicken and the Garlic Bread. I chose the Chef's Special of Salmon with a Creamy Basil sauce, dirty rice (VERY sweet) and veggies. I could not stop eating the rice and the creamy basil sauce was delicious! Our waitress was very polite and attentive! Dinner was a total of $25.00 - not a bad price in Miami Beach with drinks and a great meal! Would eat here once a week if I lived there!

If I could give more than five stars I would! This place is an extremely rare find. When it comes to the food, the title says it all...Totally Awesome. The menu offers several Italian dishes in each respective category including chicken, fish, veal and of course pasta! I started off with the house salad.....crisp lettuce, sliced onion and juicy red tomato, topped with croutons and a very tasty home-made dressing. For the main course I went with the tried and true lasagna. The portion was as big as the table and I wondered if I would ever make it to the last bite of the wonderful creation. The place boasts a cozy atmosphere with A+ service and an outstanding wine list. If you find you have room for dessert...go with the Tiramisu...trust me you will not be dissapointed!
