A pilot for Air France co-owns "Nothing but the Best" and, apart from the regrettable name, the food definitely warrants landing on its tarmac. Presented in true culinary school fashion on gleaming white plates with drizzles of this and that jetting across the landscape I wasn't sure what to make of "Nothing but the Best". Is it a loose translation of "Ne Plus Ultra"? Is it trying too hard? Is it stuck in some Frenchman's mind of what well-heeled Miamians might consider chic? Who knows? Watch an episode of Miami Vice to get you in the mood. The point is, once you start eating it is simply one wonderful taste sensation after another. I don't have high hopes for the success of this place. I sincerely hope I am wrong.
