Clean and tidy, being renovated with glass facia at the momment, location is good for cruisers and downtown Miami, very good price for 1 night good sized breakfast, staff on reception were very helpful. Shuttle service runs to Port at $5 per person.

Hotel is under renovation while I stayed there. The hotel offer free breakfast during this time which it's pretty good. Location is good if you need to stay in downtown. Will stay here again if I have a chance to come back.

The location is good, if your need to stay in downtown Miami. However, the hotel is under renovation and there was noise at the different floors I stayed. I had to change three times to different rooms, because of the noise and terrible humidity smell in the rooms I stayed. The staff was helpful, but will not stay again, it is overpriced for what they offer.

When we visited the Marriott Miami Downtown they were under renovation. Our room had not yet been redone but it was still a nice size and pleasant. The room had sliding glass doors onto a small lanai but it was only big enough to stand on and overlooked a large roof of the hotel and an empty lot. The other downside of the hotel is that there is a daily parking fee added on to your bill and the hotel entrance is extremely hard to find if driving. Our two drivers both had difficulty finding how to get to the hotel entrance. The upside of the hotel was there was a free happy hour that included soda, beer and wine and the full breakfast in the morning was magnificent. Very classy. We were within walking distance of Bayside Village where there are numerous restaurants.

We stayed one night at the Courtyard in order to use a free E-certifcate we had received from Marriott. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a bigger room - which was great! I really liked how close the garage was to our room. We were actually able to park just footsteps away from our guestroom which made unloading a lot easier. As soon as we arrived they told us about the construction (which I already knew about from reading reviews on here.) I was surprised when we got to our room though and the sound of construction was LOUD. It nearly rattled the walls in our room because they were doing the construction right outside of our room. Thankfully they stopped working around 4:30pm so we only had to listen to the noise for about 20 minutes. We never experienced construction noise again during our stay.

The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the Bayside Marketplace. There were a ton of great places to eat and drink. We had a wonderful evening there. The hotel's rooftop pool was great too! We took advantage of the free happy hour (all different kinds of beer and wine...it was great!) and also the free breakfast. The only real issue we had was that the roof was leaking BADLY in the dining room thanks to a torrential downpour during breakfast. It was really bad and kind of gross to have buckets everywhere and we even had to move tables when the ceiling sprung a new leak. I really couldn't be upset though because the breakfast was free and delicious! They know what they are doing there giving the extra benefits to make up for the construction.

We would stay here again, especially once the construction is done! It looks like they are getting rid of the guestroom balconies with the re-do.

Room Tip: High floors on the East side of the hotel may have Bay views.

This hotel is near the Financial District and is perfect if you have to make a business trip or just for vacation.
It has a pool on the roof and a gym room. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable.

You can park your car in the garage under the hotel.
