If the room had been better, I probably would have stayed in and would have missed an evening at a fab restaurant so thank you for not having any natural daylight in my room.
The room was small and dark but actually pretty clean and certainly convenient. Breakfast was included in the rooftop restaurant and was lovely.
It was definitely nothing to shout about but I would definitely stay here again for an overnight. Not for longer.

The rooms here are conveniently located at the airport, and are of the ordinary motel/hotel standard. However, the staff provided inaccurate information about getting from MIA to FLL airport. Then, when I got my credit card bill, they had charged me for a "late checkout" even though I left at 4:30 am to catch an early flight. The acounting person would not accept my word for this, so I spent an hour getting a copy of my boarding pass from the airline, converting that to a pdf and sending it to the hotel. One feels unwelcome under these circumstances

Room Tip: Get a room away from the runway side

For my short trip to Miami this hotel was very convenient, right in the middle of the airport.
My room was close to the elevator, so the hall was a bit noisy, but overall I had a good night sleep.
Breakfast was on the top floor, but not much to see. Personnel was friendly, wifi could be better though. the bus stop to the Dolphin mall is just across the street , every 30 min. for $10,-- round-trip.

Several of our affinity group had to stop overnight in Miami on our way to and from Martinique. The travel agency booked us into this hotel, and most of us did not get the room we had requested 5 months earlier: Two ladies had to sleep in one queen bed, my wife and I did not get the King Size we requested ("It was a request, not a reservation" they said), another man was not booked at all. All these screw-ups were accompanied by a shrug, as if to say "take it or leave it".
The rooms are quite small but adequate, at about a Ramada Inn level.
Service at the restaurant was very slow although they were not busy.
The location is admittedly great but I don't think I would stay there again -- for $200 I expect some efficiency or at least a polite apology.

Room Tip: Reserve well ahead and make sure you specify EXACTLY what you want.

In transit, so didn't fancy mucking about with an off airport hotel, taxis etc. It was quite pricy, and very impersonal at the front desk, but I had a good night's sleep, good meal and excellent free internet access on check in day and check out day

Although the walls between the rooms and the outdoors seem well insulated for sound, the door to the room has gaps all around and the tile floor amplifies the conversations of people outside in the hall as if they are standing right in your room. BRING EARPLUGS if you want to sleep. Also, the shower floor was stained and grungy looking.
On the positive, the rest of the room was comfortable, and the room-service Cobb Salad was delicious! :D

Room Tip: NOT by the elevator.

Great location in the middle of the airport for an overnight stopover en route to somewhere, particularly now that the metrorail connects to the airport.

However the hotel is looking very tired - particularly the guestrooms which are outdated and in need of renovation. Service is also patchy...when I went for breakfast the hostess was more interested in putting on her lipstick than finding me a table.
