“Perfect oasis during a layover!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2011

Great Customer service: especially that of the front desk supervisor who was very accommodating in my time of need! Clean, quiet, well equipped, very comfortable rooms: Truly sound proof! There was a large flat screen TV, Clean, comfortable bathroom, comfortable bed, a clock with local time and even a great view! The security and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also a convenient hotel restaurant as well as many surrounding restaurants in the terminal. The environment was calm and entirely the opposite of the busy confusing airport. The room I stayed in was excellent value for money: a real oasis. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is brilliantly located right in the terminal, however it is very old and tired and the walls of the building are very thin. If you stay there, be sure to get a room without a connecting door as the constant coming and going of guests is extremely noisy. (I had to change room in the middle of the night...)

I had a late flight arrival from LAX, departing early morning for Brasil. The airport hotel is directly in terminal E of the airport and accessible to all gates. The rooms are very basic, nothing too excting but the price is fair and the room and bathroom are clean. Futhermore it was surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel and I had a great sleep. Woke up at 3.30 am to catch my onward flight. No hassles at check out and better still no shuttle bus to take!

Room Tip: Don't bother trying to check-in to the airline the night before, they will not accept to do this...

I boked this hotel via booking.com and I got a rate of 120 usd a night, but when I did the check in they were offering the same room for less then Usd 100 which made me feel stupid!
For the rest the hotel is inside the terminal and very convenient if you have an early morning connection flight.
No restaurant opened late in the night.
The room was quite big and comfortable, even if quite old.

I stayed in the hotel as I needed to overnight between flights. The location is excellent and the rooms were clean, in fact one was so clean the carpet was still wet from the cleaning. The prices vary depending on how far in advance you book and last minute charges are expensive for what you get.

The convenience of this hotel for a very early morning flight is the only reason to stay here. We have stayed at airport hotels all over the world and this is by far the worst. A real embarrassment to Miami International Airport. The hotel smells of stale smoke and mildew everywhere. The elevators are very slow. Very old style televisions. Our desk had no chair, only an ottoman! Furniture very old and used. Rooms and bathrooms very small (but this is understandable for the location.) The bed was reasonably comfortable, however, and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep.

Our flight arrived at 9.30pm and we were in our room in less than an hour as immigration and customs were quick. We were surprised at how little was open in terms of eating places at 10pm, although there is a Dunkin Donuts and another sandwich place nearby on the concourse but don't expect to be able to get a late full meal.

The hotel has an excellent location within terminal building but that is the only really plus point. Corridors etc looking shabby and the room was quite small with a small and soggy bed (1.5m) by American standards. Bathroom pretty reasonable size. No room safe or fridge/mini bar.

With only warm, not hot, water when we arrived we expected it to be hotter in the morning but it was not. As a result we negotiated a 20% discount prior to check out. The rate was still 120 Dollars inc tax, so expensive for what it is HOWEVER the location could not be better and just what you need when arriving late and departing early the following morning.

Room Tip: Not very well sign posted, head to section D
