Beatriz ran the breakfast area (and seems to do a lot of other tasks too). She was remarkably friendly and helpful and had recommendations for the area. People like Beatriz are a credit to Holiday Inn Express.

Stayed here for just one night before moving on. Phoned the hotel from the Airport and they sent a local shuttle to pick up us, which saved money on a taxi.

The hotel is much grander than the Holiday Inn Expresses that we see in most of Europe, check-in was smooth and the room was very large, with a huge bed and bathroom. Breakfast was the ususual H.I. fayre, and you could struggle to get a table at busy times, but the waitress cleared the tables quickly once they were unoccupied.

There is a nice pool with loungers at the back of the hotel, together with free internet near the lobby. All in all a pleasent place for an overnight stop. Would return there agin if ever back in Miami.

This was a nice hotel. The only gripe I have is that the air conditioning was finicky. But the staff was very awesome and helpful. Beatriz, the women who picked me up from the airport, was fantastic! She was very friendly and told me about the area and reccomended some things to do while I was there. Plus the shuttle to and from the airport was free, provided by the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel two nights Jan 2013. EVERY staff member I came in contact with was very polite and friendly. The breakfast was more than ample, with more choices/selection than I had expected. Our room was clean and quiet, everything was in good working order. The rooms are nothing special, so if you need luxury, or the newest and latest and greatest anything, you should probably stay elsewhere. If, however, you have a need for reasonably priced, basic lodging in this area, check in to this hotel...I would absolutely stay again.
