I was very satisfied with my hotel stay. While the pool area is not that large, it never filled up and the lounge chairs were very comfortable. I had a fridge in my room and there is a supermarket 2 blocks away. I had a smoking room which was very comfortable with bottled water provided daily.

An amazing service from reception desk to the Lavin amenities in bathroom !
Macarons and chocolates in the room .
Good food, we ate in the room.
Near by the airport. I just stay for a stop over, comming back from Orlando.
I certainly will be back !

We have stayed at the Sofitel before and have always enjoyed our stay there. This trip was a little disappointing. The shuttle from the airport was terribly overcrowded to the point of being dangerous for the riders. The check-in process was lengthy due to some issue with an athletic team trying to get their room straightened out, and the restaurant was not up to their usually high standard. Cold, subpar crab and corn soup. I sent a note to the hotel manager, and he apologized profusely. We will stay there again, and expect that the issues that we experienced will be addressed. Sofitel takes great pride in the quality of the customer experience, so I was very surprised but confident that our concerns will be resolved.

Stated here for two nights prior to a cruise!

Staff, food and the rooms were nice and fit for purpose!

Breakfast in the hotel was lovely and the drinks reasonable

Check in and out a bit slow but not the end of the world!

I would happily stay again!

I am impress from this Hotel with all those thinks that offer to guests.
Nice large rooms with big bathroom, large comfortable beds, very clean and nice view on the Lagoon. Not noisy AC system and many TV Channels.
Missing only the café machine but have Starbucks shop in the Lobby where cover any test of coffee you need and open from 5:00 the morning.
Further more, it is important to inform that have free Wi-Fi in room and in Lobby. Congratulations to management and to all the staff of the Hotel where always offer you so nice smile.

We stayed at Sofitel Miami for 2 nights recently. This was our second visit to this hotel and as result of a not perfect 1 night stay 2 years ago we were told to contact Pierre and so we did.

We had a truly lovely 2 night stay, I cannot thank Pierre and Florence enough for persuading us to give it another go.

It actually started quite badly again, Florence arranged for us to be picked up from the airport in their Towncar owing to our personal circumstances, I did not think this was necessary or required but hey ho, thanks anyway. Well we landed and I get a phone call from the concierge before we even hit the gate !! He gave us the number of the driver and I stupidly wrote it down incorrectly ! We got outside and no car !! We waited and waited, called and called, I was furious !! The concierge got it in the neck via phone !! The bus was no where to be seen, it was late we had been travelling 18 hours !! Only to discover we were waiting outside departures and it was all my stupid fault !! I was an idiot and cursed the poor concierge for nothing ! Horatio the driver eventually found us and calmed me down immediately by just being super professional ! Thanks Horatio :-)

The French welcome inside was warm and sincere and the sandwiches and pastry we had in our room were most welcome as was the coffee and superb hot tea !

Our room was on floor 14 looking out over the Blue Lagoon and the airport runway which my 11 year old loved, noise was almost non existent in the room and just the occasional loud plane when by the pool.

I have read reviews that say this hotel is 'tired' not true ! No its not a brand sparkling new place but everything here is top quality, from the carpets to the elevators to the chairs by the pool. The beds are BY FAR the best beds I have ever slept in in a hotel, just wonderful.

Better than this though even are the staff, just perfect service from each and every person you speak to.

We ate Breakfast the first day and it was superb, the kids enjoyed the buffet greatly ;-)

We were not able to stay for the Easter Egg hunt but preparations were well under way by the time we left.

If you want a place where everything is new and shiny and false then don't stay here however, if you are not easily fooled by cheap hotels pretending to be quality and want real quality surroundings and real 1st class service then you really do need to stay here, trust me ! I think down by the beach this hotel would be charging 3 times the rate it is. Whilst the attractions such as South Beach are only 15 to 20 minutes away anyway.

If I had one minor criticism it would be nice if the shuttle made a stop at the car care centre, it goes right by anyway and we had to go to the airport and take the people mover back again but that really is the ONLY thing !!

Thank you Pierre, Horatio but most of all Florence ! You were all superb, thank you so much for a fantastic start to our holiday :-)

We stayed at the Sofitel Miami Florida for 2 night.
The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, just 5 minutes away, and there are shuttles to the airport every 30 minutes.
The staff were very friendly, especially the conceirge - there were very efficeint,friendly, and go out of their way to try and help with every request.
The rooms are cleane and very comfortable.
