Great Service. Front desk ladies Elizabeth and Yari did a great job of taking care of me here. Clean room, good food, good people. Good internet. Nice safe place.

We had an early morning flight and wanted to stay close to the airport. The location was great but that was about it. Once we got to our room, we looked around at dust, smears all over the furniture, foggy windows that were to difficult to open and quickly left. Sorry Sheraton, I was expecting a little better.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. The management team here at the Sheraton will utilize your review as a way to improve the overall experience for future guests. The guest room windows while clean, hurricane and sound proof have slightly discolored over the years. Occasional some windows which are double pane acquire condensation in the middle slightly obstructing a portion of the view. I will be sure to share your cleanliness comments with our Housekeeping team. Hopefully you will consider us again on a future trip to the Miami area. I can always be contacted personally to help with future reservations.

We arrived at Miami airport with loads of other people also waiting for the Sheraton shuttle. During one hour it arrived twice and following a rugby type scrum we failed to get on either time. With still a big queue waiting, we gave up and went in search of a taxi. After dragging our cases for what seemed miles (I am an OAP with a spinal injury) we finally found a taxi and loaded our cases, only to be told that regular taxis did not go to the airport hotels (not worth their while I guess) - we were then directed to the blue taxis and dragged our cases over to them. The trip is maybe a mile and costs $11 (not a bad rate eh?) The hotel reception was not interested in the lack of shuttles (although there was a shuttle standing idle in the grounds). Our room was very average, with a close up view of the monorail (shame it didn't stop outside the Sheraton) - luckily we weren't there very long.

Our return trip to the airport was equally poor - too many people waiting for the one working shuttle (the hotel clearly knew what bookings they had that day!) - when we did eventually get to the airport we had no intention of tipping the driver and he gave us a very sour grunt. Tough! Why should I tip such rubbish service?

The hotel has a pleasant pool area at the rear but the fact that it is close to the airport is the only reason why anyone would ever want to stay there as far as I could see.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front just face on to the monorail - don't get undressed with the curtains open!

The Sheraton offered a reasonable route to Key Biscayne without the congested traffic of the beach. We stayed 2 nights and found the rooms a nice size, attractive and clean.
Being next to the airport, the room was amazingly quiet! We enjoyed a nice breakfast out on the veranda (though not free). The one drawback was the $15 a night fee for parking....there seems to be no alternative. We recommend requesting a room on the golf course side (even numbered rooms).

Spent a post-cruise night at this hotel. The best things about it are that it is only a few minutes away from the airport with a free shuttle every 15 minute. The room was nice, with lots of small amenities (coffee, water, tea, sewing kit, shampoo, shaving cream, etc.) There was a very long, slow-moving line when we arrived. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality, but there's really nothing else around. Still, it's not bad for an early morning departure.

We had a room at the Sheraton prior to a flight and the hotel is well located for the short trip to the airport. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient and the process was quickly completed, but that was as good as it got.

The hotel decor is looking extremely tired and need of redecorating and some furnishings are in dire need of replacement. The room was also looking a little neglected, the door to the room had obviously been forced open at some point which did not fill us with confidence, the view over the golf course did not make up for the overall negative points. A shower that was ineffective capped off our stay which we did not really enjoy.

Check-out again was simple and efficient along with a the hotel provided shuttle.

Given the reputation that the Sheraton brand has this hotel does not reflect the standard that most of the chain manage to achieve.

We came in from an international flight extremely tired. The hotel was super close and the staff was nice! Kat Gonzales is amazing! She knows how to treat a customer!
