We chose the hotel based stricly on Trip Advisor reviews. We were not dissapointed. Yes it is an old hotel that has kept up with the times in terms of renovations. The lobby was beautiful, and we were greeted by Kathy at the front desk who was charming and represented the hotel well. We found our room to be spacious, clean, and quiet. We were at the back of the hotel and could not hear any traffic noise. The air conditioning work well and was quiet and kept the room comfortable.

There was no continental breakfast offerred, and we knew that going in. I was hopeful that they would at least have coffee at the front desk, but they didn't and gave me several additonal packs at the time of check in.......nice touch. We ended up eating breakfast in the restaurant and found the food to be very good.

I would use this hotel again if the opportunity arises.

Just finished a 2 night stay at the Miami Airport Regency Hotel. Booked through Hotwire, so this wasn't my pick, but once I saw what came up I thought I had lucked out! Wrong was I. The pictures look much nicer than the actual room. The king bed was clean and decent, with a nice sized room and TV. The bathroom, however, was incredibly old, with dirty old linoleum flooring, where even if it was cleaned it would still look dirty. Not the cleaning staff's fault, just ready to be updated. Grimy tub faucet too. Main issue was the noise-the planes are so loud that each time one took off it would drown out the TV (balcony door closed!). And the doors all slam shut, so very loud each time another guest goes in and out. We managed to sleep, but those sensitive to sound should beware. Have stayed at other airport hotels where this type of noise was not an issue. Good for a short, cheap stay if these things don't bother you. Overall ok, but might have paid a few extra dollars to stay elsewhere had I known.

Exactly what we needed for a one-night stop-over in Miami. Nice room, a choice of plenty of restaurants around, and best, free shuttle service every half hour at all times. Nice staff, clean and comfy.

This was an excellent hotel for what we needed, comfortable clean place to spend the night. The hotel is old but comfortable. I would suggest that they replace the carpeting in the hallway but other than that, it was very clean. We were not "vacationing" at the hotel as we had many events planned. Although the hotel did appear to have many amenities, we did not have a chance to partake of those i.e., we did not eat at the restaurant or visit the bar. These facilities did look appealing though. The staff was very hospitable and quick to offer help.

Clean and well furnished, located at 15 mn of the airport with a free shuttle, the hotel has a pool, very comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. It's relatively cheaper than the other hotel nearby, but frankly it is quite good value for money. The hotel looks much better from the inside than from the outside and does have a fitness room with 3 machines, and ice machines at every level and free coffee in the rooms.

I have stayed at many hotels and have never ever felt as welcome as I did at this hotel.
.Thank you to the wonderful staff, Miguel,Leo, Dixon and especially George at the front desk.
The food was excellent, room was very nice as was the bar. A nice touch was a cold bottle of water on the shuttle to the airport.

We stayed here for an overnight layover. This has a nice lobby for hanging out. Water to drink and a bar. Rooms were clean and good size. The shuttle runs 24 hours on the hour to the airport. Front desk very friendly. No breakfast included but we were leaving early. Shuttle left on time.
Had a refrigerator with a top freezer in the room.
Rates were variable used tripadvisor website to find best price. Don't wait too long, price got higher 2 weeks before.
