“Good as usual”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

I used to stay many times at this Hotel. Today they have improved the rooms, friendly staff and some add ups in restaurants and lobby area. Excellent location and the best views over the bay.
The only bad experience is also as usual the noisy bathroom pipes...so you can hear your neighbor when using bathroom.

This is a really good call if you are in Miami.

First of all, great location. At the heart of Miami Downtown and really close to South Beach.
Then, the hotel is really well designed and the rooms are pretty confortable with amazing views.

I was in the hotel to attend a conference. The hotel is nice, in midtown Miami. Nice lobby, spacious rooms, but I saw the strangest list of additional costs for what ever you wanna do.
For example, as you expect from a 4 start hotel, the hotel should have a fridge/ minibar.
But what you can see on the minibar is a note that, "This is only the mini bar, and you are not allowed to use it as a fridge..Although if you plan to use it you can call us and pay 25$ to empty(!!!) the minibar!!!"

The rooms do not have the internet, and you should pay 11$, or 17$ (based on the bandwidth) for the internet. Even in the meeting rooms there was no internet, and it costs 20$s to use it.

The staff has different ideas about the reservations and the service, so if you are not sure about something ask two different receptionists to make sure you got the correct answer.

On the first night, the kind receptionist, told me that on our reservation we do not have breakfast and Internet. On the next day when I went to ask for internet, the other receptionist told me that I can have internet and the breakfast both.. When I got the feeling that no one is sure, I asked another one, and she told me, that I don't have the breakfast, but he gave me a pin for the internet. !!

But apart from all these confusions, the hotel is nice, in a good location, with a helpful (but careless ) staff.

Very nice and conveint to downtown locations. Cost was a liittle expensive for the view we ended up with (city buildings) but never the less great room. Highly recommend getting the club package... Free snacks n basic breakfast plus happy hour from 1800-2000 (nothing like free booze)! Watch out for the Internet, even though I am an IHG Priority Rewards member still got charged for the Internet until I reminded them it should have been part of my benefit... Just remember to ask for the PIN number. Highly recommend this hotel.

A true oasis within paradise. They offer breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour as well as around the clock access to snacks and beverages. We are sincerely sorry about the confusion with your internet, but we are glad that it was quickly resolved. We look forward to welcoming you back soon, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

From the moment I entered into the reception area I found the staff to be very welcoming and professional in their approach. The young lady who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. Most especially, I want to commend a young lady by the name of Ms Myslande, whom I had the opportunity to speak with while ordering room service. She had an exceptionally friendly approach while taking my order.

Room Tip: Rooms with as view of the Miami bay is fantastic!

The hotel is comfortable and well located for the Bayside market complex. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. However the $15 charge to use the gym and the $1 per bag storage somewhat took the shine off the stay!

I've stayed at the IC Miami about 6 times in the last few months; mostly for work, but often staying over the weekends for fun.

With their newly completed renovation the hotel itself is stunning. It fits in perfectly with the flashy Miami scene. The lobby is open and welcoming with a great bar and restaurant. The rooms are all great as well. I usually get a harbor view room, which has an amazing view of South Beach and the ocean. The club lounge is also definitely worth the extra money; great breakfast every morning, tea in the afternoons, and wine, beer, cocktails, and appetizers in the evenings. Perfect way to unwind after work and to relax before going out on the weekends.

The service and food at Toro Toro is also amazing. I don't usually eat or drink in hotels, but this bar is always packed and my friends are always happy to meet me here and enjoy the scene and the drinks. Dinner and brunch are also great. The $35 bottomless brunch is a great twist on the usual all you can eat; rather than a buffet they bring dozens of small plates so you can try a bit of everything. There are so many great things and you can actually try them all!

The location is also great for those on business and staying over the weekend. It's right between Brickell and South Beach, which is perfect for access to downtown offices during the week and Brickell and South Beach during the weekend.

If you're looking to experience Miami for business or leisure I highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Harbor view rooms have a great view. The club access is definitely worth the money
