Stayed here with family for a week . The hotel is located in the downtown area called the biscayne lane , very central location, close to the bayside market place, the Miami University, the convention centre, the port , the daily boat cruise pick/drop off point and the inter-city monorail and bus stop just outside the hotel. South beach is approx 15-20 Mins by taxi ,there is part outside the hotel...
Pros:
Checked in early as I had conference in the same hotel and the front desk was very helpful in checking us in early. (lucky enough to get that)...Thanks ! .
The Wifi was free (due to group booking package ) and was fast.
The Breakfast was also included and was good and there is starbucks at one end of the lobby as well.
The food at the hotel was also good.
There are good eating options outside as well ,especially bayside market place or every wednesdays there are a lot of food trucks outside the hotel.
The room was good and clean , the service was very good.
Very good travel desk/coiencerge at the lobby- They can arrange for shuttle buses to/fro to malls and other sightseeing places and offer other tour options as well. Shuttle bus charges to malls -which are 45 mins-1 hour =30 USD.
There are interactive screens in the lobby , giving you information about the dining , sightseeing and other interesting tour option and some good facts about the city.
The pool and the bar at the pool is good
The views from the room are very good of the city at one side and the seaview for some rooms.
Cons:
The health club is not free for even the guests -15 USD to use the same.
The parking charges are 36 USD for overnight.
The checkin/checkout during weekends could be time taking due to large crowds coming in.
The location is good , but more business centric ,as in the evening most places /restaurants near by close early and most touristic things are a bit far off , for instance ,like beaches and malls.
Early check-in is additional 100 USD (subject to availability) and late check out is 40 USD.
Internet is charged.
Conclusion-Overall a great place to stay because of the views ,service and quality and would definitely recommend it.
Room Tip: Use the information desk at the lobby for good tour options.
Seaview rooms are great.

The tip about the food trucks on Wednesdays is a local's type of information. We are also glad that you enjoyed the new technological touches to our hotel. They really are a cool way to know what's hot around town; but if you want a more personalized touch, our concierge team is always on hand to assist. At the moment, we do charge fees for access to the fitness facilities and early check-in, but thank you for your comments. The valet parking is $36/night, but it is comparable to other downtown price points and there are many other parking options available nearby.
