“Spa Day with the Hubby”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2011

I had the pleasure of spending the day at "MY SPA" located in the Hotel InterContinental.

My husband & I are locals & thought it would be fun to spend the day at the spa & it really was.

What a beautiful Spa! My 50 minute massage with Dimas was amazing, topped off with an express facial and lounging around the sauna & steam room was icing on the cake!!!! I highly recommend MY SPA to all locals & visitors alike :)

Well located, nice rooms, service is good. They charge too much for internet access, garage, and gym.

Spent a week in the hotel for a conference. Staff were generally helpful, especially the concierge and in the lobby restaurant. However, complimentary items such as teabags were not replaced after the first day and when requested; even though I was assured they would be. Hotel is in a good location, near Bayside and a range of restaurants and shops, although away from South Beach.

There were a convention for me at the Intercontinental Miami hotel so
I stayed there for three unforgettable nights . I felt in love with that hotel since I entered the lobby and saw the lights and and the big stone . The receptionist was very nice and the room was very large with a nice view of the harbor the beds were big and comfy , complimentary coffee bags and bottle of water everyday . The bathroom was large enough for me .

I was visiting my best friend and her twin 11 year-old daughters. My friend and I were looking forward to eating and drinking at the restaurants and the twins wanted nothing more than to swim and hang out by the pool. Sadly, the restaurant with the view closed at 6pm and the view was not in the restaurant but outside. And, the pool bathroom was dirty and slippery and food from other visitors was allowed to rot in the sun when it should have been cleaned up much sooner. On the bright side, the room was lovely, service inside of the hotel could not have been nicer but I do not think that this hotel is suitable for families at all.

We attended our cousin's wedding at this Hotel. Have to valet park which is $10.00.This is a huge lovely hotel with awesome water views. You can actually see the sweat on peoples faces as they sail by on their boats. While the wedding was very good the locations for the wedding vows and dinner/dance were just the usual hotel fare. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I stayed at the Intercontinental in Miami with my family this summer and had a wonderful time. The location is prime and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again in the future.
