my family and i stayed here post cruise ,the staff wasnt very friendly , the internet didnt work as they said, the room was clean , somewhat outdated but the view was great overlooking the aa arena. was in a good location right in front of the marketplace where there are tons of shops and restaurants. if you are going to the aa arena this is the best place to stay just outside the front door 1 blk away. I took my son to a heat game and i was on crutches so was very convenient for me.

The room was ok...a bit cramped with 2 double beds. You had to move a table to be able to open/close the curtains. No upgrade provided, even to a king bed and I have a high level in their priority rewards program.

The pros:
Good Location across from Arena and Bayside shopping; Bed was comfortable, clean; Room Safe with key;Very nice restaurant staff;Nice view of the bay

The cons
*Parking is terrible. There are a limited number of spaces and the employees use most of them. I returned from a meeting to find the hotel lot full and the public lot behind the hotel also full. I was told by the front desk to try again after 11:00 pm when the employees leave. I had to park in the Bayside parking across the street and move my car at 11:30pm..not fun.
*Room service was 30 minutes late and then showed up with cold, burned toast.
*Front Desk Staff not very hospitable or helpful.
*Thin walls. You will hear everything from the people in the next room opening the curtains to someone coughing. If you need it quiet, be warned.

My partner and I stayed here specifically to attend the Madonna concert at American Airlines Arena across the road, so it was perfectly situated. The room was clean and spacious, but my partner thought the room smelt a bit smokey-and they will charge you $2500 if you smoke in the rooms! The staff were very friendly and helpful when we pointed this out and the smell went pretty quickly. The room had an amazing view, but the walls are quite thin, and you can clearly hear the people in the next room. This may sound a bit negative, but I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast buffet is varied and tastes great. The main plus point for this hotel is the location, with the Bayside Marketplace across the road (with restaurants, shops and boat cruises), a good bus service across the street that can take you to South Beach and a free Metro Mover train service that can take you to shopping malls. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night,, was ok location, right acros from the "bayside" shopping spring, service was good, was allowed early check in, kept my baggage untill room was ready, breakfast in the resturant was somewhat pricy compared to the quality of the food, noise from the traffic was minimal, selection on the entertainment system in the rooms TV was more than enough, rooms was spacius, bathroom was clean, so all in all a good hotel for the location and the price of the stay...
