We went here on a night when Ja Rule was supposed to perform at 11pm--we stayed until 2am, and he still hadn't shown. No complaints there, though, because the DJ was the BEST--perfect music and remixes, blended perfectly together--he was the best part of the club. $20 to get in, and on the average, drinks and shots were $12 a pop. Doesn't get started until midnight, but you might not get in if you head out too late; we went at 10:30, when it was still fairly empty, but didn't have to wait even 5 minutes in line; make sure you're dressed in nicer club clothing--ripped jeans aren't going to get you in. Dancing was great, though some of the guys on the floor are a little grabbier than most clubs that are not in a city environment like Miami or NYC. My friend and I both had our purses with us in the bar, zipped up, on our shoulders the whole time--mind you, the kind of handbags with short straps so the bags are practically in your armpits when they are on your shoulder--and both of us had our wallets stolen, right out of our bags at some point during the night. We think some of the grabbier guys who tried to stick their hands down the backs of our pants might have done it, and used their grabbiness as a distraction. The bouncers were no help, but it was lucky that the Miami Beach Police were right down the street.
My friend and I are not oblivous tourists or complete ninnies--it's true what they say about pickpockets--you don't feel a thing. We'd go here again, but watch your wallets!!!
