“a MUST on your vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

We went in the late afternoon, was not too crowded or noisy. The weather was perfect and the employees were polite and informative. This definitely make the trip worth while.

“Fun experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

We got there early Saturday morning, lucky it wasn't too hot and humid. I bought tickets online and they were ready at the counter. Waited for a boat. Once we got on the way our guide would kill the engine and talk about animals, vegetation etc. Very informative. We saw quite a few gators of different sizes. When we got to the open we went for a real ride in the air boat. That was fun, fun but too short :) After the ride we proceeded for a short show. We liked it too, my wife kissed a huge frog :) Afterwards you can take a picture with an alligator for 3 bucks. Get there early on a weekend to avoid crowds.

“Cheesy tourist trap worth the time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

This is a tourist trap from the 1950's, make no mistake about it. It is overpriced and run down. It cost $3 to be able to hold a small alligator while your friend takes a picture. But you know: I loved it, especially the airboat ride. We had a great boat driver/guide who stopped to catch a snake so we could all see it up close and who was excellent at pointing out otherwised camouflaged wildlife. He also gave us a good boat ride. Of course, he did mention that he works for tips, and we were happy to oblige. There is a restaurant on site, but I could not find a menu. I think I would have been willing to try something there rather than my other choice.

“Limited Experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

I went to the park on a field trip with my school. The air boat ride was nice buy extremely short and there were not so many animals to see (2 gators, a white egret, two camouflage birds and that was it). There were no signs with the schedule for the shows. Restrooms facilities are outdated, cramped and uncomfortable; pipes were exposed and there was no place to hang your belongings. Staff members are unprepared for a busy day. Waiting time for a cheeseburger: 30 minutes. I do not recommend this place.

“Fun but could have been better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

The boat ride was nice, we did get to see some gators, however, not as many as you would expect. The wildlife show which comes after is interesting but not up to the hype they advertise. There was no gator wrestling and not nearly as many animals as you see on their website.
