“Mandatory with children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

It's a perfect place to stay with your children, I spent there almost a full day, and for my old one we needed return other days, but in a family travel we decided to visit other places. The "museum" is a huge playground segmented by ordinary life situation, you can find the Bank (where you will find all things related to money and banks), the firefighter place (where you can wear a firefighter dress and drive the car), the bulding area, the port, and others. Really it's very instructive at the same time very enjoyable for children. The unique bad point is the food option, there are only one: subway, and with little children isn't so good.

My 3 year old LOVES this place!!! and so do I - we learn so much and no matter how many times we go, there's always something new, something amazing, something fun going on! ONLY THING I CAN'T STAND: The outdoor playground is run down, things are broken, paint is peeling, it really is an eye sore in an otherwise AMAZING and EXCELLENTLY MAINTAINED place.

“Kids loved it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

It's great for small children like mine. They had a really great time playing there.
We'd been to Chicago kids museum and it's much better. Even tough they had a lot of fun in the Miami Children's Museum.
If you care for good food plan your meal out of there. Only high fat pizza and similar.

“Special Exhibit was what we went for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

The "love of reading" exhibit is currently on display. My son really enjoyed it as some of his favourite books were featured there. The museum is very very small and is very expensive. There is only a subway restaurant to eat, no generic cafeteria, so take your own food if you don't want subway sandwiches. My son enjoyed the museum overall, but only about 1.5hours is needed in there.
