“Great family day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

We got there right when it opened and on a Monday which is supposed to be a quieter time for little ones. Sooo glad we went at that time so my 5 and 2 year old could explore without getting pushed around by the older kids. Loved the cruise ship exhibit since we love to go on cruises. Spent about 2-3 hours and by then it was really busy since it was spring break. My girls also really enjoyed the covered playground outside which wasn't crowded at all. It was a great family day trip with lunch at Bayside to top it all off.

“Wonderful family experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Definitely worth a visit if you are in miami with kids. Plenty to do. Lots of hands-on activities for younger kids (3-9 age bracket). Divided into sections: cruise ships (kids can pretend to steer a ship and learn to navigate) music ( DJing section, musical instruments and more) a mini miami (a pretend fire engine to drive, hospital to play in, animal sanctuary), arts and crafts and much, much more. Lots of places to play too. Our four year old loved it, 9 year old enjoyed it; it was a bit unexciting for our 12 year old. My husband and i also enjoyed it. We left with our nerves fully intact and all of us were energized by the experience. Highly recommended.

“Nice and entertaining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

I have been here a few times now, I have an 8 year old daughter who loves this museum, she finds it entertaining and always wants to g there... the price for Florida residents is very decent, the place is clean although it could be a little more organized after the kids play. But in general is a nice place, kids love it and I will come back...

“Good place to spend time with small children”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Fun for them, safe environment, and inexpensive. They have plenty of things for the children to do, plus they do activities throughout the day for the children. My 7 year old daughter had a blast. There is a Subway on premise where you can get sandwiches, salads, pizza, drinks, and ice cream. Overall, the place was very clean including the bathrooms. The parking costs a dollar an hour which is very reasonable for the area and there was a security guard constantly going around the parking lot in a bike.

“very disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

This place made a very run down impression, all rather unimaginative and many of the displays and interactive features were not working. Definitely not worth a return visit. And highly suggest not to go on the free day (last Friday of the month?), when we were there it was filled with noisy poorly supervised kids.
