Part of a hotel complex that shares pool facilities Simple and spacious rooms, modern decor throughout the building. No Ice machines on the my floor as the room hotel guide suggests. The Rooms appeared clean, the bathrooms were not cleaned well. Meaning maybe they were wiped down. The ceiling tile was gross, dusty and dirty oozing dust bunnies and dirt falling in the shower and over the toilet. The design of the bathroom is ridiculous with the door opeing inward with no space to really move around. Not sure if this was jsut this room or if all were designed so poorly.With the room being so large I wonder why such a tiny bathroom. Basic at best here for this Marriot. Staff was friendly and there is a Starbucks in the lobby that provided a ok cup of coffee. Found a little run down cuban cafe just outside the property along the main road. A few minutes to walk if looking for a decent Cortadito in the morning. Have to pay for parking and deal with tickets and gated sytem each time. For the price you would hope to have a larger and cleaner bathroom, maybe some ICE for guests.

I am a Marriott Platimum Member with over 650 nights in Marriott Properties. This place is the worst propperty I have been to. The shuttle was supossed to be every 15 minutes. It took over 45 to get from airport to hotel. We called twice. The rooms are worn out.The neiborhood feels unsafe. This should be a level two at best. It needs a total update, or Marriott should not have their name on it.

Great location. I was in for a cruise and appreciated my rate. I took the shuttle from the airport and the next day, it was easy by cab, to get to the port. My room was clean, quiet and spacious. The curtains were nice and dark for sleeping in. There were nice places within walking distance, to eat and they also have a restaurant and bar on the premises that were very nice. The front desk managers were helpful and the pool area was spacious and beautiful, and offered a nice respite from the hustle bustle.

We have nothing but great things to say about our stay at the Miami Airport Marriott! We arrived late into Miami and were met within just a few minutes by the shuttle bus upstairs just outside the doors where the other hotel shuttles come by. It was great having a free trip to the hotel and saved us a bit of money. The front desk checked us in quickly and were very friendly and helpful with our questions about getting a shuttle to the pier the next day. The hotel room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was noise from the airport during the night, but it didn't prevent us from sleeping. The next morning we enjoyed a coffee and bagel in the conveniently located (lobby) Starbucks while using their free wifi to update our family. We needed to get some supplies for onboard and took a taxi to the Win Dixie a few blocks away, because I had heard it was a bit of a rough area. The taxi ride was about $7 each way and well worth it. We purchased a flat of water and sodas etc. The shuttle ran at 11:00/12:00/1:00 at a price of $11 per person. The driver was on time, polite and dropped people off at whichever ship they were boarding in a timely fashion. I won this overnight stay through Priceline and we were treated very well by the Marriott in every way, despite paying about half of what their rack rate was. A great deal, in my opinion.
