Please note they're closed Mondays! I've been going here for over 10 years now, and it's still one of my favourite restaurants in town. Since its spike in popularity a few years back, it does get quite crowded, so do plan ahead and either go early for lunch or dinner, or just reserve a table. I personally prefer coming here for lunch, you can get a bento box for around $10 (Tuesdays to Fridays) which includes sushi, soup, salad and a main dish. If you're hungry I recommend ordering something extra (the sushi is some of the best in town, especially for the price!), or just save room for dessert (they are famous for their tempura icecream as well as tempura cheesecake). The servers and service is geared towards eat-and-leave, so don't be too harried if they seem to rush you, they just usually try and turn out as many tables as possible due to their high volume of patrons during peak hours. If you take your time though, they'll notice your not in a rush and slow down the speedy service for a more dine-in atmosphere.
The great thing about the restaurant is that it's a healthy mix of locals, UM students, businessmen and many more types of people, showing it really has held it's ground as a good Miami staple.
