“Yup, it's a Morton's!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

I find these restaurants to be consistent no matter where you are. This one is a good example of the breed. My steak was excellent, sides were good. Food is a bit expensive but if you are in a Morton's to begin with this should not surprise you unless this is your first foray out of your hermit cave in a decade. Service was very attentive (a major achievement in Miami) but I had to ask 3 times for béarnaise sauce -- ahh, the problems of the so-called elite, do they ever end?

Yes, it is kind of dark, but once again if you go to a Morton's expecting lots of bright, modern decor and sunshine, you should probably blame the bloke in the mirror before the restaurant.

Seriously, it's a Mortons, and if you'd like a good steak at a bit of a price premium, this is your place.

“Not So Great”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

My wife and I flew in to Miami for a long weekend. Frazzled from the usual airport experience and seeing that our hotel's bar was mobbed we walked around and saw Mortons. We sat at the bar and ordered some food and, of course, drinks. I was looking forward to a good martini - when it arrived, it tasted like water with some olive juice thrown in. My wife's "signature" bloody mary was similarly tasteless. Either someone was watering down their name brand liquor or they let the drinks sit in ice too long - a rookie error for a restaurant like Morton's - esp at $15 per drink. (My bad for not sending it back, but c'mon - what steakhouse can't do a martini?) The steak we shared was adequate - kind of dry and overdone. I heard another diner requesting "more liquor" in his drink so you can draw your own conclusions there. Surprisingly, I sent an email to Morton's asking for them to look into it and never got a response. Nice customer service. I'll never eat at a Morton's again.

“Good Meal - But Time to Renovate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

This branch of Morton's serves the same consistently high quality steaks & chops as all of the other branches. The here staff works hard -- consistent with the prices that are charged. But, it looks a bit worn and dark inside. Time to redecorate!!! Still, great steaks come at a high price and if you love red meat, you'll get it here.

“Good Food”

Enjoyed Morton's for dinner. We dine in Morton's in NY and find the food to be consistent all over the country. They also offer the same specials.

“The Grand Steakhouse”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We have been to Morton's several times and have never been dissapointed. The steaks are tender and always arrive as ordered. The sides are equally great.
