“The place to go for Cuban Food experience when coming to Miami”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

When coming to Miami for the first time and want to have the experience of real Cuban food, this is the place to come.
well known restaurant in Maimi where the Cubans get together to discuss politics and the daily stuff.
huge restaurant for large groups, a cafeteria where you can have your "cuban coffee" outside and an excellent bakery to finished up your meal.
you will find a menu with everything that you can imagine. Need to take few minutes to look at the menu and decide what you want to eat. menus are in english and spanish.
the service is excellent. Plenty of people to help you out.
excellent real cuban food. perfect for breakfast.
must have your "cafe con leche" and your cuban toast .
the beef empanadas are fabulous, need to try the croquetes (ham) and the "papa rellena" (mashed potato balls filled wiht ground beef and fried. Delicious!
place to have a freshly sqeezed orange juice.
it is truly a great experience to visit this restaurant.
you never know what famous people you will find eating there!

“Expected more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

There was a long wait to get a table and an even longer wait to get our food. I can tell you it wasn't worth it. The garlic bread was pretty good but the rest of the meal was just average. With all the positive reviews from here and other sites, I expected more.

“Excellent Cuban Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

For us it's a must do in Miami to eat here at least twice in our visits to Miami. The bakery is great for morning staples.

“Delicious!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

This is a cuban restaurant in Little Havana, Miami. We asked for an "Arroz con pollo cubano" and a "Palomilla con maduros". They were just delicious!! The arroz con pollo had two pieces of chicken and the rice seemed to be a kind of risotto. The cuban flavor was excellent. I guess the check por two people was around $23, so not as expensive as it seemed to be from outside the restaurant.

I would definitely come back some day.
