“Animals Galore!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

My boyfriend and I based our Florida vacation around the Zoological Wildlife Foundation. I am a huge animal lover and started exploring different places to go on vacation that would include animals. I found the Zoological Wildlife Foundation through Tripadvisor and decided to head to Florida!

The foundation itself is in a funny area it looks like a house from the outside. But once you enter through the gates it is like a zoo!! Allie our tour guide met us right when we entered with a cute little Gibbon wrapped around her neck. We filled out some paperwork and after that began our tour. First we got to hold the Gibbon. What I loved most about this tour is that you could take as many pictures as you wanted. The Gibbon was so sweet and we took a ton of pictures with it. Next we moved on to the goats, where my boyfriend actually got to pick one up. Then we got to feed a toucan blueberries! It was awesome being up close to it. From there we met a Sloth up close and personal and fed some Camels. We saw all the beautiful Tigers and Monkeys it was so much fun!! We ended the tour with Allie bringing us in a baby fox to hold. She was so precious :)

My absolute most favorite part was our ten minute play session with both a baby Tiger and Jaguar. Let me just say that the money is way worth it! We paid extra for this feature and if you are an animal lover I would definitely take advantage of it. Allie took a million pictures of us with the animals and they are memories that will last a lifetime.

I highly suggest this tour if you love animals and you want to get up close and personal with them!! :)

“Animal lover's Dream!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

We came to visit last week, was heavy rain but this did not matter when we were there - fantastic experience, seeing animals close and holding baby animals, lovely gibbon and lemur. Taken on a tour round to see other animals, all very well cared for. Grand finale was a baby fox, gorgeous playful tiger cub, Dalia and then helping to feed a snow leopard. Loved it all and wished could have stayed there! Marvellous treat for true animal lovers and worth the price for the great memories and photographs of this day.

“Must see for animal lovers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

The tour was terrific and Andrea was very knowledgable and personable. We had an opportunity to hold and feed Sam, a colorful toucan who is exceptionally friendly and Valentino, a baby Gibbon in a blue diaper! To conclude the tour, we visited with Dalia, a playful Tiger cub. Much more fun than any zoo we've ever been to.

“Had a great time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Loved almost every part of it. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The tour was fun and educational. We chose to have the tiger pup encounter which was very special. Overall an amazing attraction and the reviews don't lie. It's a once in a lifetime event. One tiny disappointment was it said you get to feed a anteater but we were told they sleep during the day and you can't feed them. Otherwise a perfect visit!
