“Mind blowing.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

The most intense place you could ever imagine being.. The kindness of all the staff and the healthy animals and clean cages! You won't find anything like this for the price, the hands on interactions with these animals is phenomenal!! The work, time and energy involved in this place is more than you could ever imagine... You get what you pay for, and it's way worth it and one of those memories that will stay with you for life..
Clean, healthy, fat happy animals.
And amazing people that do it for the love of the animals!!

“Pricey, but worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

We visited with another couple and loved it there. Our guide was great, she was very knowledgable and answered all our questions patiently. We were able to hold a lemur and play with a baby anteater. I have yet to go to a zoo where you get to be that close and interact with an animal like that. Plus you get a private tour!

It was expensive (I think we paid $70/each) and that unfortuantely did not include playing with the tiger. That was an extra $60/each and we decided it was too much for what we wanted to spend.

Very unique place and animal lovers will adore this place. Off the beaten path and a lot of the vendors in the area don't speak English, so bring a GPS if you are unsure of the area.

“Amazing place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

We did the general encounter yesterday, and it was the most fun I've had in a while. We were a little late, but Carolina, our guide, was so kind and accommodating that she still did the full tour with us, and even kept going for another half hour! The animals that they brought us were very friendly, and their habitats were very well kept. It is obvious that the staff really loves the animals, and wanted to teach us about them. The most unique part of the tour was when we went into the cappuchin monkey cage after they had had their treats. It was absolute mayhem, and the monkeys were jumping all over the cage and us and tugging our clothes, hair, etc. but we were in hysterics the whole time. All in all, an awesome place. I'll definitely go again if I get back to Miami.

“A unique animal encounter”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

Zoological Wildlife Foundation is a unique animal experience in the Miami area. The staff makes you fell at home and they're very knowledgable with the animals during the tour. They have a large variety of animals that are available for personal interaction. The animal enclosures are spotless. This is definitely a place for the animal lover that wants to have a personal experience with animals.
