Had dinner at this location for the first time, having dined at their location in Doral I was familiar with their menu. Located in a neigborhood shopping plaza the place is rather small and tries to be avant-garde by its brightly colored walls and minimalist furniture. I don't believe that the two large screen tv's really lend anything to the atmosphere, rather they are an annoying distraction. Is this a sports bar or a resturant, management needs to decide this quickly. I found out about this location from a local dealsaver coupon, and while I feel it was a good value there are certain things that they need to make patron aware of from the get go. First the menu is a la carte, but items are reasonable priced so this isn't a big issue yet the patrons next to us didn't realize this so when their meal arrived they had to wait additional time for side items to arrive. A major pet peeve is when a resturant charges an automatic 18% gratuity onto the bill. I understand this practice is common on Miami Beach where the excuse is that foreign tourist don't tip but this place is located in far Southern Dade county where only the locals go. Let me decide if the waiter really has earned his 18%. Portion sizes are on the anemic side but none the less they are tasty. I had Bul Go Gi and my wife had Kimchee JaeYook I can think of many other local places to get a better meal.
