“NOT AN OPTION”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

Had a bedbug walking over my white bedspread in the middle of the night. This is an old motel on the Biscayne Blvd strip of old motels in a not so great neighborhood. Trendy photographs make it look like a bargain with white Ikea furnishings and white painted walls. My bathroom was old with a dirty looking, refinished bathtub and the hallways were filthy. The old AC in the window was rattling so loud that it could not be used and the toilet didn't flush properly. The help does not dress or look professional. Wifi worked, parking was free but not even a cup of coffee was to be had.

To be honest, the room was okay. No complaints about the employees; the staff was nice. I got a room on the third floor, I had to come to the first floor to get wifi. I mean you get what you pay. It was not that close to the airport or downtown and I would not recommend anyone to take a walk at night. Behind the hotel is the "Little Haiti", this place is very dangerous. MOST IMPORTANT it might be a coincidence but according to " lovemealwayz " there is someone that steals the credit card information so be aware. I left the hotel 4 days ago and today I got charged with $126.00. This was the only place where I used that card. Be careful

THis hbotel was difficullt to find without a sat nav but once you found the way it was very convenient for the airport, the hotel was cheap but cheerfull and comfortable, the bed was large and so soft you just melted into it. There was no breakfast included but a delightful restaurant just across the road was convennient and surpriosingly good value. I would reccomend this hotel for anyone looking for clean accomodation at budget prices

Room Tip: Coinvenient for airporyt and close to city and beaches

This place is horrible! I travel alot for work and have seen countless hotels all over the u.s. No elevators, dirty rooms, no security, no trash bins, no phones, when i actually seen this place in person i did not want my wife and daughter sleeping in that filthy place when i try to get a refund they refuse fine no problem but then i try getting a different hotel i cant because thanks to hotel mimo they charged me twice for this room and also have a $250 deposit on hold for incidentals that i wont get back for 3-5 days. ridiculous!!!! I personally say this hotel itself is not worth 250 and will never recommend this place to even my worst enemy you can probably get a better nights sleep under i-95 overpass. As for the customer service they dont have a clue what that is especially monique they may speak nice but it does not mean a thing if your smile and body language does not follow. the owner of this building needs to just knock it down and save on property taxes because im not picky at all when it comes to hotels i think u get what u pay for but i have paid less in better locations and better quality rooms and service. Consider yourself warned STAY AWAY FROM THE CRAP BOX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff is very nice and recommended a great dinner spot down the street. But that is all. The hotel has no elevator, cramped, super small rooms. No phone or security lock on the door. No wash cloths, shampoo, cups or ice. Parked behind the hotel in a locked parking lot. One saving grace was the staff. Since the security latch didn't work, we had pushed up a suitcase against the door. About 11:00 one of the staff used their key to enter our room to chat on their cell phone. I stopped her since my nose was about 2 inches from the door knob since the room is soooo small.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

Location: far from everything, the area is shady
service: was ok, at check in the lady was friendly
cleaningless: poor bathroom was mouldy
bed, i woke up with lower back pain

They tried to upgrade it, but still a lot of work to do. Also having mold in the bathroom has nothing to do with the old building. lobby candelabra was dusty (dust thats been there for more than a week or a month)
