“Absolutely love the Conrad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2011

The hotel is expensive but very grand. I loved everything about it. the view from the breakfast area is breathtaking. The only issue is that the swimming pool is slightly disjointed from the rest of the hotel. You can avoid parking fees by parking on street which is free between 12 midnight and 7 AM and $3 an hour otherwise. The hotel charges $36.

Room Tip: Try and get a room facing the bay. We didnt get one.

This was a great hotel decent location about 15 minutes from South beach but just around the corner from Bayside. There are several restaurants and bars located around the hotel all in walking distance.

Room Tip: We checked into 2210 both on the city side.

Had a one night stay here in October 2011 before flying from MIA. An easy 20 minute drive to the airport and just 10 minutes to South Beach.

The hotel staff are very slick and very efficient. The views from the 25th floor (check in) are superb, overlooking the port, Biscayne Bay and South Beach.

Stayed in a one bed suite, which was magnificent. Spacious, natural light, ipod dock, electric curtains, decent size in room safe, 2 TV's very very plush.

Breakfast time during the week will see you sitting in the proximity of some serious Power Breakfast meetings, which adds to the aura of this hotel.

Expensive but worth it.

OK: if you are a Hilton Diamond card holder you are likely to be ahead of the game when you book a room here. Unlike many UK Hiltons who will not upgrade you unless you ask, European and Stateside Hiltons will do so unless they absolutely cannot. Also given breakfast as a courtesy, and whilst others have commented on this upgrade not including the automatic gratuity, it would be churlish to moan about paying $4 for an otherwise free (and excellent) breakfast. Especially when you have that breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay.

Room-wise, over 2 short stays here I was upgraded both times to a large corner residence room with kitchenette and huge living area. It's a seriously good room. Others have commented on the Illy espresso machine: it really is good.

Beds are very comfy indeed. Huge bathroom with ample toiletries.

All staff are helpful but not "artificial".

The bar is good value for a hotel of this status: if this were New York you could easily add 50% to the cost of that martini. The in house restaurant is not cheap but is good value, serves genuinely very very good food (no seasoning required, always a decent benchmark) and the wines are excellent.

If you really can't stomach the cost of that (and if you are staying at the Conrad, that does seem a bit unlikely), the Gordon Biersch brewpub a half a block away does excellent diner fare with a twist with good microbrews.

Good gym.

Handy for public transport for getting around downtown (the metromover is free).

Overall, despite its business district location, a high end Hilton group hotel that made me feel welcome, a valued customer, and was uber comfy.

This was my first time in Miami. Don't see any reason to stay anywhere else next time.

Big thumbs up Conrad.

Room Tip: If you can wangle a residence room from floor 26 up, you're in clover.

Spent 1 night at the Conrad before a flight home out of Miami.
What a gorgeous place, really didnt want to leave. Best place ever in Miami. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
Location is great, several restaurants nearby but we took the free people mover from across the street down to Bayside Marketplace.
The rooms were on the smallish side but fine for just the 3 of us. Bathroom was gorgeous and it was all modern and new.
It was a bit of a strange set up getting around the hotel. We had to go up in 1 lift to check in at reception on the 25th floor then across to another lift to go down to our room on the 18th floor.
The pool was in another builing and that took 3 lifts to get to - strange but well worth it.
The views were lovely, we had a room overlooking the bay which was nice.
Pool area was nice but not much room for the chairs and it was overful so anytime someone got into the pool the area was flooded - ok if you remember to keep everything of the floor.
We really enjoyed our 2 days spent by the pool, it was quiet and there was a nice breeze as it was on the 10th floor.
The bar area was great, really pricey as was the restaurant but if you can afford to stay at this hotel then i guess you can afford the prices. Didnt eat at the restaurant but it did look gorgeous with fantastic views and great lighting.
We had the buffet breakfast which was ok but lots of the food was cold, would have expected better from this hotel.
Plenty of parking next door but again was pricey at $26 a day .
Overall this hotel was fantastic, best enjoyed if you forget the extortianate prices and just enjoy it.
We would certainly go back again.

Wonderful views, outstanding breakfast, good gym, and extremely helpful staff. I stay here occasionally on business and am looking forward to my next stay in Dec. Walking distance to many good restaurants in Brickell.

I was here for one night, what a beautiful hotel!

The views are amazing, even though we were facing the city...

Very handy upscale restaurant in the building... Expensive but worth every penny!

Best place I've ever stayed in Miami... The staff were so welcoming and helpful!

Next time I'm in Miami I will be back!!

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view... It might cost a little more but it's well worth it
