“Delight in the Chic Four Seasons”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

The Four Seasons Miami is a property which combines contemporary luxury with resort style amenities just blocks from Biscayne Bay. The property is convenient to some of the city's prime restaurants and attractions.

This chic property is perfect for the business or leisure traveler. My suite overlooked the bay, which provided a wonderful way to start my day. The property's tropical pool terrace was a great place to relax with its cabanas and three pools.

The service and attention to detail were evident throughout my stay.

The good - very modern and clean, staff very professional. Superb outdoor pool area, large gym.

The bad - no free wifi, gym equipment quite old in places, no real 'wow factor' in the rooms - very business like.

Location not bad for downtown Miami - walking distance to Mary Brickell village and very close to Metro Mover which is an easy way to explore the downtown Miami area.

Had a good deal on the room rate which probably explains the terrible view (city view, meaning roof and one building).

Was a nice stay but we expected more for a Four Seasons.

The Four Seasons in Miami is a fantastic hotel, definitely one of the top hotels in the city. The hotel offers great rooms some with an incredible view to Key Biscayne and the Miami Bay. The service in impeccable and the pool is just awesome! However, the location on Brickell Ave is good only if you’re doing business nearby. It’s not a good option if your business is somewhere else in the city or if you’re doing sightseeing. For the price of the rooms, surely there are better options in Miami.

I had a 3 day meeting at this hotel and went 1 day early to meet with a customer. i found the level of service especially from the front desk and the quality of food to be below standard. It was necessary for me to change rooms, and the front desk failed to send keys and have the bell captain pick up bags choosing instead to leave for the day. The Front Desk Manager attempted to make it right by sending a "ridiculous" shell with brown sugar (sand?) with four little wrapped candies on top. Food and hors devours served were not nything that woud bring me back. Valet parking, Conscierge, and housekeeping were excellent. Beds were comfortable. The elevator system makes difficult for meeting participants to get to their rooms.Cannot recommend!

The hotel may not be ideal if you're interested in the beach, but if you want to be downtown it's a good choice. The basic rooms are a spacious 500 square feet, well appointed and since they start around the 20th floor, views are excellent. The pool is kind of an urban oasis. However, I found it odd that when I arrived a 5:15 p.m. to check in my room was not ready, nor was it ready for the gentlemen in front of me. Since I was there for a conference which was already starting, I just went into the meetings and picked up my room key after dinner. But if I were a leisure traveler I would be a little upset, I mean isn't 3 p.m. check in time? No rooms at 5:15? Either they have a housekeeping staffing problem or they're very generous on very late check outs, or maybe this was just an isolated situation. They also never provided a newspaper as advertised and only one bar of soap for two nights (no separate soap for shower/bath). Aside from that, it's a Four Seasons, hard to be disapponted at this brand.

We so glad to hear you enjoyed the view from your room as well as the pool terrace. We're sorry your room was not ready at check-in. We'll try our best to make sure that does not happen again, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Best,

From the giant Botero sculptures in the building lobby and hotel lobby, to the well-equipped health club (the spa is really tired and mundane and in a city of great spa hotels, that's surprising), you can immediately see that they cater to well-healed business travelers to this financial district. My suite is large and gorgeous, with all the working space I could want. There is nothing warm about this hotel or it's staff, though. Its not chic and hip, to justify a haughtiness that pervades. Nor is it a family resort with a laid back feel. It's just a nice business hotel lacking, in my opinion, character. I rated it excellent because they do what they do - cater to business travelers - with excellence. If that's not you - book somewhere else that you'll enjoy more.

Room Tip: The suites ending in 15 are huge with great views and lots of natural light.

I had a great time at your hotel and in miami. The staff was very helpful and professional when giving me information about either directions or info about different places to visit. The rooms were very clean.
