The hotel may not be ideal if you're interested in the beach, but if you want to be downtown it's a good choice. The basic rooms are a spacious 500 square feet, well appointed and since they start around the 20th floor, views are excellent. The pool is kind of an urban oasis. However, I found it odd that when I arrived a 5:15 p.m. to check in my room was not ready, nor was it ready for the gentlemen in front of me. Since I was there for a conference which was already starting, I just went into the meetings and picked up my room key after dinner. But if I were a leisure traveler I would be a little upset, I mean isn't 3 p.m. check in time? No rooms at 5:15? Either they have a housekeeping staffing problem or they're very generous on very late check outs, or maybe this was just an isolated situation. They also never provided a newspaper as advertised and only one bar of soap for two nights (no separate soap for shower/bath). Aside from that, it's a Four Seasons, hard to be disapponted at this brand.
