“First Class Hotel more Oriented to Business than Leisure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

Outstanding service and quality in everything. The rooms and views were fabulous. The staff attention since you first go to the front desk is first class, the room service waitress, the bell boys, the valet parking boys all of them makes you feel special. Room service punctuality is to be recognize and presentation very good. In general is a very good upscale hotel for an affordable price and much business oriented than leisure feeling. If for business is the best, but is is for vacation/leisure I recommend other options. $37 a day including taxes for valet parking.
Overall experience was excellent.

Good location in downtown Miami. Nice rooms. Nice big swimming pool. Bar is nice and service was good. Edge restaurant was fine. I thought not enough choice on the menu (room service menu is better) and what I ate was mediocre at best. Dry under seasoned chicken and soggy wet salad. My Server was a little absent. So if dining alone I would recommend the bar over the restaurant based on my experience. Breakfast was better. Orange juice was super as you would expect. I would recommend it for business - it's always nice to be at the Four Seasons and it certainly makes business travel a whole lot more enjoyable. Hotel service was excellent.

We stayed at the FS Miami in April. We loved the hotel. We got an upgrade to the 29th floor and was extremely impressed with the size, decor and view of the room. The bathroom was absolutely spacious and amazing. We were there for only 2 days so didn't make use of the hotel facilities. We had 2 hectic sightseeing days planned.

The hotel is walking distance to the Brickell Area (10 minutes) where there are loads of bars and restaurants. We ate at Balans and just sat around drinking and people watching.

We did the hop on and hop off bus tour which is highly recommended if you don't have enough time to spend in Miami. We did the City Tour and then changed buses for the Beach loop. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to do the river cruise.

On our second evening we decided to eat in South Beach. Unfortunately we could not take a taxi from the hotel because it would have cost us an arm and a leg cos there was a Company marathon taking place in the city. Thankfully there was a free City Mover train which is directly opposite the FS and it serves the whole of the downtown area. The train journey from the FS to Bayside Harbour was 10 minutes. We did a bit of shopping for souvenirs and then took a taxi to South Beach.

South Beach is great for people watching. The food is great and it's got a really good vibe.

The Miami Heats and NY Nicks were playing at the American Airlines Arena and there were a lot of security staff and people with special wrist bands lurking around the FS and I really wish I had taken a few photos cos I'm sure they were famous basketball players!!!
We certainly bumped into a few very tall guys.

The only slight criticism and would have expected the hotel staff to step in to stop: Whilst I was laying around the pool I saw two girls being handed at least 5 GLASSES of champagne whilst they were in the pool, they were clearly intoxiated, they was wandering around in the pool drinking. There were children and other adults in the pool at the time. I wonder what would have happended if they have dropped a glass in the pool and it broke, worse someone cut themselves!

Wish we stayed longer.

FS Miami was perfect for my business trips and a little play time at the weekends. The service has been excellent on every visit - usually for about two weeks at a time. The staff remember you each time you go back and that is rare in a chain hotel. The pool has a fantastic view of parts of Miami up on the 20th or so floor. The bar is nice but a bit on the small size. The rooms are immaculate and well-stocked for a hotel of this calibre. The room service and menu is excellent and I thoroughly recommend the weekend brunch (quite expensive per person) but definitely a real treat with everything you can think of on offer! The location is good for getting out onto I-10 but also within a short cab ride of South Beach so you can win both ways without paying the South Beach prices nor being stuck in a motel by the office. The gym and spa are excellent and the opening hours suit any kind of business traveller. Always happy to go back!

It was my wife's 40th birthday, we stayed at the Four Seasons in Miami. We had a spectacular stay, the hotel property, pools, food all exemplary as would be expected. But what truly added an extra special touch was the staff -- concierge Natasha who went out of her way to steer us to wards nice restaurants, arrange a day at an affiliated beach property, shopping etc., Restaurant staff phenomenal. And their executive chef Aaron who again went out of his way to make things nice for us, even shared his special seasoning for one of the appetizers we loved !
